Everybody is good in having a face to face approach with others.I can say that the following factors prevents us from having a face to face approach.

there are many ways to improve your communication skills for you to promote your sfi business properly...

1. consider your self as the ceo of your business in that way you will develop your self confidence.
2.it is important to check if your prospect is a good listener, for you to know if what tactics that you will use for him or her to understand your purpose.
3. for you to have the full confidence in your self you need to know how your business works, how it will benefit you and your prospect,
4. sometime what i was doing is to read on forum post, ask sc answers, and google search for me to build up my self confidence.

Even experienced speakers get nervous. Don't try to eliminate your jitters, turn them into a positive energy you can use to boost your delivery. Know what you are going to say, and why you want to say it. Speak to a supportive audiences in small group or a few people where less is at stake, at a staff meeting or a parent teacher association meeting. Breathe, in the thirty seconds before you begin speaking, take three slow, deep breaths through your nose, filling your belly and exhaling. As you breathe out, say it silently to yourself, “Relax, Relax.” Rehearse, stand up in front of mirror or walk around as you practice out loud. Don’t memorize your speech or practice it word for word. Talk it through, point by point and imagine yourself explaining your main ideas to a friend. After, practicing all this, it will be even easier talking to people one on one or face to face. This will also, help you build confidence talking to people. For me, when I first started doing this I would squeeze something in my hand so I wouldn't get nervous or show any nervousness. And, it work really well, I've gotten feedback that people couldn't tell that I was nervous.

This is a very common challenge most people have, and it may be due to several reasons, a few of which include the following:

1) Cultural backgrounds and taboos.
2) Fear of rejection.
3) Fear of inadequacy of information and know-how.
4) Many more...

Let's look at the first part of your question, "If you are not good at approaching people face to face", because the solution to your challenge will be based on that phrase.

From 1): It is very unconventional for women to be the conversational initiators with men in other cultures, and so, it presents a thick barrier for these women to push through.

SUGGESTION: Focus on reaching out to the women, who in turn, may bring in their husbands or significant others, who are men.

From 2): Fear of rejection is a big challenge, but why? Is it because you love something so much that, it will hurt you to have someone step all over it in your face? Is it that personal to you?

Imagine you are a multi billionaire, secretly out giving some of your money to a few poor people. Will you be afraid of rejection in this case? You see, the root issue is your knowledge of the real value and self confidence in what you have, so that any one who turns it down is the potential loser, not you!

In a similar way, consider the value of the SFI opportunity and be confident that you have a winner, and the fear factor will be diminished, no matter what others will think about you. They may see your success later, even though that is not the reason why you are`in this business.

From 3): Don't worry about what to say....EVER! Don't even get into the habit of memorizing scripts; you may not come across as real. Speak from your heart, by telling your story - your 'before' and your 'now' and your hope for the 'future' because of the great opportunity you have.

THOSE WHO ARE OPEN TO A BRIEF CONVERSATION

Learn to build bridges by starting with common topic openers from the weather to unemployment, if be it - something that is a common topic without the possibility of an argument. Then find the way to cross over (building the bridge) to SFI as a good consideration for a solution, telling your story.

You may use an attention grabbing question like, "Guess what I found out, that I didn't know existed?" - your prior sketisism, your present belief and progress, then your anticipation of reaching your goals.

Invite the person to take a look by offering your gateteway link or card. Offer to find answers to any questions he or she may have, and follow up with them (take their phone number or current email address).

I choose not to use the 'FREE' word upfront, but leave it as a pleasant surprise for the person to wonder, 'Since I wasn't told this, I wonder what other surprises may be in store for me?'.

TAKE A 'NO' AND MOVE ON.

Most trainers in other opprtunities, train as if you should never take a 'NO' for an answer, but keep coming back with answers to every stubborn objection to win the person over. Do you want to work with a person you dragged in, who is perhaps in to prove you 'wrong' by doing nothing? Take a 'NO' and move on.

For me, a 'NO' means 'not yet', 'I don't have enough information right now to make a decision, but don't pressure me', or 'It's not for me'. Find out which one it is, and end on a positive note with the door still open. The rejection should not be about you, so move on to the rest of the seven billion people out there.

SFI, and for that matter, all other opportunities, should be treated like a tool to get the work done. A well used tool will show some wear and tear and resulting profit. Is your tool on a pedestal as a showpiece, or is it showing much profit because of wear and tear from frequent use? The wear and tear is because of resistance.

In conclusion, you are never a bother to the people looking for your opportunity. Just keep on looking to find them, because you want to show them the proof of your story. That's the positive attitude you should have without any apologies.

Go out or online, and do some wear and tear for much profit.

A lot of my advice on improving with face-to-face approaches would depend on *why* you feel it might be a problem. For some, it's a more personal anxiety problem; for others it's a confidence problem (and yes, the two *are* different!); and for still others, it's some other type of impediment, like a speech disorder or other physical problem that can get in the way, or even just lacking the verbal skills to make the approach affective.

With anxiety issues, I highly recommend hypnotism to both relieve the symptoms of anxiety and get at the root of the problem because this is the route that worked well for me. Once the anxiety is out of the way, it's just a question of practicing social interaction. SFI has been a great motivator in terms of teaching me how to talk persuasively with others.

For others, it's more of an issue of confidence--for example, there's no problem with friendly conversation, but they don't think they can sell. Again, hypnosis or other therapy can help figure out a root cause and built confidence. In my case, I had plenty of confidence in *myself* because I know I have the ability to learn any skill, but I felt intimidated by others. No more. :)

If it's some other impediment, it's just a question of learning how to overcome, whether with speech therapy or, for that matter, just drilling with approaches. Once I overcame the anxiety, I really had to work on the communication skills. For this, I started with more fun and funny exercise, approaching people with more humor than a desire to sell. I could go into specific exercises, but that would take days, and it might not even fit your personal circumstance.

The most important thing is YOU CAN DO THIS.

When it becomes difficult to approach someone, there is always a root cause, maybe you have faced rejection before and you are afraid of being rejected again or probably suffering from some inferiority complex.

My advise will be that you should first deal with yourself by mixing up with people, read books and listen to tapes that teaches on how to socialize with people and self development, join some social groups and consciously start a conversation with someone or people when necessary.

In my opinion is a weakness that must be dealt with if you want to earn real income in SFI, because occasion may arise in the course of advertising SFI or Triple Clicks that people you don't even know may ask you questions face to face about SFI or Triple Clicks if you are not confident enough to answer them, you may loose a potential PSA(s).

In addition you should always be current with information about SFI, this maybe an added advantage to you to develop self confidence anytime you are asked a question you are able to answer. You will discover that with time this will not be a problem anymore, you will be able approach people face to face. I hope this has help.

I suggest you work out alone before a mirror. This is a very good way to learn. I personally use this method when I have a job interview, for example.

To do this, prepare a text on a sheet of paper, depending on why you want to approach one or more persons.

Put yourself in front of a mirror in order to view your bust, your face (This will allow you to view your gestures, physical, instinctive attitude, identify your facial expressions, if you have them. And work on your body language).

Then start reading your text, always in front of your mirror. Try to do it quietly, in order to go neither too fast nor too slow, with a tone of voice appropriate to your situation.

Try to even your mistakes and correct them. Do this several times if necessary. If you do not see improvement the first few times, do not give up, and try again the next day. You will see that after several days of training, you will progress seriously.


This exercise works for any type of social approach. If you have a entetien job, if you have a tryst, or anything else.

Face to face is a traditional way of marketing, my suggestion is you approach a friends or close relative, it is the best opportunity to get the result.

If your verbal communication is not very good , I suggest that you bring some printed material. Give to your prospect together with your SFI Gateway address. While your showing
to your prospect you can explain the idea about your business.

Another idea when doing face to face marketing you can bring the prospect to your office or home and show them a video and let the video make the presentation. After a video session open to ask and answer question.

Never force a prospect to sign up immediately. Let them think it over and you must follow up with them
