I do not believe we should sugar coat the time we spend on SFI.If you need to keep the figure low to keep someone's interest, they are not the sort of person you want in your business.

You cannot be successful in SFI by only spending half an hour to an hour a day, working on the business. I spend 4-5 hours a day and I sometimes wonder if that is enough.

There is so much to learn, so much to discover. It has taken me 7 months in SFI to discover the power of buying from TripleClicks things other than TCredits. S-Builder Co-op shares etc. In nearly 100,000 items, there has to be things your team will want to buy, and by alerting them to specific items, you can rapidly grow your commissions.

So tell people that if they are serious, they will need to spend 4-5 hours a day to get the results we all look for. You may scare a number off, but the ones that come in, knowing what is required, will be the sort of team members that eventually will make you rich.

It is really your business and you decide how far you want to take it or how much
Successful you want to be in your business.

People make mistake by the commercial or advertisement they are seeing and be victimized as a result of it. Work one or two hours a day you will make a ton of money in the next Few weeks or a month or two. Since it is so tempting and believable from the emotional Side of it, it is far from the truth.

Ask yourself if I open a physical business or store, how long do I have to work every day to be profitable ?.

Will you open your business at 9 am in the morning and close 10 or 11 am in the morning
And will still be profitable and successful while every business around you open and
Closes after 8 or 10 hours of work days every day ?.

This business is no different than any other business, the more you work on it in terms
Of time and investment the more you succeed. But one thing I know, those same people
That tell you to work an hour or two a day and you will make a living from that effort, they
Worked day and night before they reach where they are now, so you only know your
Capacity how much time to spend to succeed and have a profitable business.

At an absolute minimum, it takes me roughly two hours each day to take care of my To-Do list and basic promotion. However, if I *only* spent that minimum each day, I'd take much, much longer to see success than if I spent eight hours each day, because the more productive time you put into any business in a day, the faster you can build your business overall. Think of it like a bricklayer creating a wall. He or she can place one brick a day, lay bricks for four hours a day, or work a sixteen hour workday. Regardless of how much he or she does, that wall will eventually get built, but it's pretty clear that the guy who works the sixteen hour day is going to get done first.

My "typical SFI day" consists of a couple of hours after rollover to do my "To Do" list, play the Time Machine game, and then check what's going on with the places I'm using to advertise. I then go to sleep because it's far too early in the morning, and when I wake up, I do my share of social networking, distributing fliers, and so on. What--and how much--I do on a given day will depend on how many other urgent tasks need to get done, but generally, I'm doing it while going about my daily business anyway, so it barely feels like work. It's up to you to find your own rhythm.

This question from what I have seen of my short time here so far depends on how good of a team you have set up and whether or not you have the funds to invest in your business. If you have no funds to invest then you are going to have to make an investment of time.

Myself, I usually spend a couple hours a day on the SFI/TC sites doing various things like my daily tasks, reading training lessons, playing games, or bidding at auctions and such. I have a unit of S-Builders and 10 PSA's to go on SO so I do not have to worry about that, I also send out links to my facebook and twitter accounts on various TC products that I am interested in and such.

Now my real time investment happens when I leave the site as I use outside advertisement methods to promote my SFI/TC business. I spend 6-8 hours on days when I do not have to go to my other job advertising my business here, and on days when I do work at my job I pretty much spend all day about 16 hours working between the two. Of course I am trying to go for the best possible results in the least possible time, talking about days and months of course, not hours, so that is what I do.

I guess the main questions you should ask yourself is: How much time do I have to invest in making my business successful, and how quickly ( days and months, not hours) do I want to accomplish that in?

You should spend as much time as you can with your SFI business, read everything and understanding everything. The more time you put into your business, the more you'll get out of it. Being a sponsor once you have Affiliates under you, you will want to teach them what you know about this business. It's better to do, than just going through the motions.
If your looking for an actual time each day to spend, how about spend the time needed to do your daily tabs, make sure your profile is complete. Get a standing order, teach your affiliates to do what your doing.

If you are a beginner and your goal is to build a profitable SFI business, your time will be invested doing the following tasks:

. Set a certain time of the day when you can log in and visit your Homepage undisturbed. If you have a job, then spend 1 hour a day after work, to do your daily to-do lists. Initially you'll need to invest more than 1 hour as there are plenty to read and to learn, how to navigate the many links and learn the new terms that may sound strange and procedures that may overwhelms you.

. Once you get the hang of it, and daily doing your tasks everything will look familiar, you begin to understand more how SFI works, how VPs are earned, how commissions are earned. Then you will be comfortable with spending just 30 minutes doing the daily to-do.

. Spend another hour or two to explore the TripleClicks store, invest time and money by participating in Pricebender auctions, play Eager Zebra Games, to earn VP and MRP and have fun.

. Now you're ready to visit the Forum. You can spend another hour or two here, so ensure you have the time to spare as it can get very addictive. But the things you learn from others are priceless which can help you gain more understanding on how to build a profitable SFI business. Checking your inbox, attending to your team's messages,etc. will take another 30 minutes to 1 hour a day.

. If you have a blog, you need another 30 minutes to update everyday.

In summary, investing 3-4 hours a day will see you doing so much more productive work that involves sponsoring, marketing, advertising, mentoring and building a very active and productive team.

This is a great question.

Personally I have a full time job in which I do shift work for 40 hours per week. I also have a second job that takes up one weekend a month.

Most of the time I spend a least a minimum of 1/2 hour per day doing my daily tasks, and sending some tip cards to my team members, and maybe advertising something on twitter. I usually enter t-time as well.

When I have a day off with nothing to do....I spend as much time as I can at SFI doing other things, as I know that the more time I spend advertising etc...will make my business more viable.

This is a very personal question for each affiliate, as everyone has different obligations in their lives that may take precedence over working on their business here.

Coming on here each day is the favorite part of my day though, because here I am my own boss and I can work my business how I choose. I love this business!

Depends on your workplan.

The least amount you should invest directly into SFI each day is: 35 minutes.
In this time you can get your dailies done (including survey, TC latest items, entries for Daily Grand and T-Time), answer 30 AskSC question WITH careful reading and browse the blog for news.
Still within SFI: depending on the activity and questions of your team, you might want to invest another hour or more into sponsoring, research/review and reading the forums.

For the indirect investment: you should invest at least another hour depending on how fast you create new content for your blogs/websites/social sites/forums/meetings and the necessary research for your topics.

Add a short recreation for your eyes and your body with at least 30 minutes inbetween and you get to a least amount of 3 hours.

Advertising on the Go (daily outings, always ready to find a new opportunity) and local advertising (Distribute/refill giftcards, business cards, flyers, ...) will add even more time to it.

Still, 3 hours of forwarding your business is the least amount I advice you to invest.
To not overwork yourself, I advice to hold it down to a maximum of 9 working hours each day with (short) breaks every two hours.

Please be careful: While funny, relaxing or motivational reading and conversing within SFI do not really feel like work but may happen quite often, please make sure to calculate in a good amount of time for your beloved ones!

In trying to answer this question, given that everyone is serious about SFI, two things came into my thoughts: money power and experience.

Experience or real involvement in both online and offline advertising help reduce amount of time you actually have to spend on your SFI business, which from the 2nd month onward, promoting SFI and TripleClicks consume almost 90% of all the works. It shouldn't take anyone more than one month to complete reading all SFI lessons, and not more than two hours a day to finish their to-do lists. After that and until you are satisfied with your commissions, it is all about recruiting "one" downline and more downline. If you have no experience and no skill at all in advertising anything, you will have to spend a lot of time daily learning and doing a lot of trials and errors to succeed. A couple of hours are never enough. That is a reason why more experienced people always say to "be persistent". Because they had that time before, and if you continue to be persistent until you found a way to make it work, you will be able run this business successfully with lesser time and able to spend the rest of it with someone or something else that are more precious to your life.

Money power is quite clear. You hire experienced people to a lot of time-consuming tasks for you and that helps quicken steps, but of course, you would need to have some good judgement in selecting whom to hire and what would be the best tool to spend on. Otherwise it is just wasting time and money more.

Last but not least, your uplines (particularly your sponsor and your co-sponsor, who are close to you most) are the heaven-sent persons who would be more than happy to help you shorten your time to succeed in this business for free. Therefore, bring your questions and problems about your SFI work to your (co-) sponsor or any successful senior affiliate who you are comfortable discussing with.

There is no fixed time limit that determines building a profitable SFI business.

However, we need to spend some time to do certain Daily activities here. Without doing them we will not be able to gather the valuable VP. For, Every VP is money.

Such being the case, which are all the actions that we can not avoid on a day to day basis?

1) Daily Actions under To Do List
2) Weekly Action;
3) Monthly Action;

Daily Action include Movers List.

We have to study this and from there move on to Genealogy for more understanding of Current Status of the Team Members. Corrective action through:

1) SFI Group Mail;
2) Individual Personal Mail;
3) Encouragement through Phone Calls;
4) Inspiration through SMS;
5) Motivation through Social Media, etc, etc

needs to be done.

For our own growth too, (In terms of reducing expenditure) we need to focus on earning VP, MRP and TC through Games, T-Time Draw, Auctions, etc.

To enrich knowledge and to support fellow SFI Family Members, we need to take part in Forum.

If felt stressful then there are always options to play games!!

Apart from the above, there may be need to go out to meet people for business promotion purpose.

We should enjoy doing all these, on a day to day basis irrespective of the business status.

Conclusion:

1. If SFI business is not a full time business, then one needs at least 2 hours every day to do the above.

2. If you are focusing only on SFI Business, then you can be more flexible in managing your daily time schedules. In such cases, I would suggest spending 3-4 hours every day.
