This is a problem that most of us face. One thing to remember is that we cannot force people to work their business and we are only responsible for our actions or lack there of.
The only thing I can honestly say is to reach out in every possible way you can to encourage them and let them know you are there to help them succeed. Remind them that this is their business and it is not a get rich quick scheme. Slow and study wins the race.
We can only do the best we can to encourage and support them and the rest is up to the business owner.

Good question! Almost all active members of SFI have encountered this problem including me.
To ensure an additional regular income and long term, we know that one of the safest solutions is duplication. And if you do not have a strong team capable of imitating your actions, it will be unlikely that you etteignes your goals. Before I reveal to you my solutions to this problem, I would say that yourself you're active. You have to set a good example.
Otherwise what do you want your affiliates copy? Secondly if you think a good example and they do not follow, try to contact them to find out why. And if after several attempts you notice that there is no change, you go your way. Especially you must not make a drama and give up, you must continue to have faith in this program and continue your recruitment efforts. Anyway that you look for is quality, not quantity because you want to go far.
Do not they say that work and perseverance eventually be useless?
Dear Mary, I hope you have helped my humble level. Good luck to you.

Well Mary, that happens often in business like this. Someone start successfully, became Ea, EA2, even BTL and than – nothing. Why? Because it is easy first and even second month in SFI, but troubles starts at third month, when they become aware of reality – no team – no money! Those who don`t know how to advertise, who are too lazy or expect too much often go away.
So, do not say to them it is easy, it`s free, it`s for life. Be honest at start so they can decide immediately whether they want in or not. And be there for them 24/7, answer every question, help them to earn first money and then they will stay. If you leave them inactive and hope the best, they will all go.

Hi Mary, I think some of us are also faced with this situation.
Above all, Stay positive.
-Keep communication going with current active affiliates to encourage them to continue moving forward.
-Send some friendly emails to your former active affiliates, inviting them to come back to SFI with some encouraging statements to help bring them back to SFI.
-Continue your advertising efforts, also keep your S-Builder Co-Op going to ensure a continuous flow of new affiliates in your downline.

Persuasiveness is the only answer to this question.
We have to persuade the affiliate and remind him by giving examples of successful leaders. We have to tell them about the success stories and the massive doll-outs SFI is giving to us. SFI is such a system in which one does not really needs help from anyone. It only requires your time. It is such a self explanatory system.
We can also calculate their earning (approx.) and keep informing them about his/her future earnings. We can also help them by giving them GIFT CERTIFICATES, TCs or other help if they require. Transferring dollars is another good gesture which makes someone feel oblige.
But somehow it is our duty (which should to taken very seriously) to make them active and make them come back in the system so that systems grows and so should we.

There are a number of reasons why a previously active affiliate would become inactive. However, there's no one size fits all solution here, unfortunately.
By best advise is to write a personalized email to this person (one for each), asking them why they've not been active, and also including encouraging tips in the same.
Remember, keep sending out your well crafted weekly newsletter to your down-line or genealogy. You never know who may open these mails or when what you wrote may suddenly strike a chord!

I think that as long as you keep sponsoring your downline...Sending weekly newsletters, answering questions promptly, sending E-cards for support, etc. reffering them to the LaunchPad lessons etc. Than there is not much left to do on your part.
If someone chooses to leave or stop loggin in and do the work they need to do after all of the effort you put in...Than its really up to them.
Just keep doing what you do and you never know. Maybe one day they decide to start being active again and they just might become your hardest working affiliate.
Stay positive, stay strong, be a leader but never put the bossy hat on. You are not their employer, you are a support system. And whatever you do...please don't get discouraged.

Well I guess like all things in life this is certainly inevitable and a perennial problem of attrition that keeps coming back again and again I would just do what I can and keep staying in touch and email them regularly send them ecards every now and them or offer them a small Gift certificate with a 14 days expiry and not give them up as some may come and go and come back perhaps months or even years later like me I joined in around 2001 and then only came back about 20 months back actively promoting this SFI business .
So there is basically nothing much we can do to reignite their passion unless they become keen and willing to revisit and give it another shot by putting in the necessary effort and resources after all the saying that GOD Helps those who Helps Themselves is not only a old Cliche but so so true .
Therefore keep going don't give up and keeps owing for eventually we will reap what we sow and may all of you have a bountiful harvest and a fruitful business

You should encourage them and help them in any means necesary... Also, be patient with them as sometimes they feel neglected and don't know what to do, you must explain them that success is not coming over night and that as long as they active they will receive rewards which will help them succeed their objectives.
My aproach to them is to help them develop their promotion web site and domain, and all rewards that come with this benefits, but only if they are active and reach EA !
