Dear Mary,
This is a problem that most of us face. One thing to remember is that we cannot force people to work their business and we are only responsible for our actions or lack there of.
The only thing I can honestly say is to reach out in every possible way you can to encourage them and let them know you are there to help them succeed. Remind them that this is their business and it is not a get rich quick scheme. Slow and study wins the race.
We can only do the best we can to encourage and support them and the rest is up to the business owner.

How do you turn affiliates' EMPLOYEE mentality...to a BUSINESS OWNER mentality?

Maria,
That is a very good question. It is definitely a mentality. You can coach them to follow your actions, but they have to want to do it. The thing about the employee mentality is that the mind set is totally different. You have to train them by giving them instructions like you would an employee, but reminding them that they are going to have to give direction to their own affiliates.
Training...Training...Training!! Remind them they are in charge of their own business and its success or failure is a direct result of their efforts.

Currently the highest sign up rates are in India, United States, Philippines, and France; however, this changes on a daily basis. You can find out where the current growth is happening on the "Growth" tab.
Not only does it tell you where the latest sign ups are from but it also gives you the newest "leaders" and where they are from. This can help you if you watch it over a few days to determine not only where the most sign ups are happening, but also what countries seem to have the most active members.
You can have all the signups in the world but if there is nobody willing to commit to growing and working at their business then your wasting money.
However, seeing that you are a BTL yourself then you probably already know these things and are just asking for opinions.
Hope this helps!!

As an ECA, what is the best way to use a dropshipper for your ECA Products?

Hello Dan,
As an ECA (not currently selling) myself, I found that you need to make sure you find a reliable drop-shipper. You need to know there delivery times, there payment options, if they have any kind of return policy, and check out all aspects of their operations.
Check to see if they have negative or positive feedback from their clients so you can identify possible problems they have had in the past.
Make sure you keep abreast of the products so that you are not selling something that is out of stock or discontinued.
These are some of the issues I had with doing drop-shipping, not to mention that I personally chose the wrong types of products to try and sell.
I hope this helps you.

Is it worthwhile to send individual welcome letters to new PSAs...or can I just send out group mailings?

Think about what you as a new PSA would prefer to receive. In my opinion it is better to be more personable.
I send out something along to the lines of:
Dear....
Welcome to SFI. I am your sponsor and would like to introduce myself.
My name is .... and I am here to help you to reach your goals. I have been in the business for.... and have some experience in how SFI works.
Please contact me at (give contact information you feel comfortable sharing). I look forward to helping you to success.
Sincerely,
The basic logic I use is the KISS method. That way you do not overwhelm them, and they know you cared enough to send them a personal message.
Hope this helps.

Thousands of SFI affiliates are doing the same thing. How do you stand out from the crowd?

Think outside the box and think about how you would be attracted to SFI/Tripleclicks. Share yourself and then be the sponsor you would like to have. Make sure to treat each affiliate with that personal touch.
Be active and use all the tools SFI has to offer and others that people might not go to the effort to do.
Flyers in public bulletin boards, hand out cards to people you talk to and tell everyone you know about the great auctions, products, etc. that TripleClicks has to offer.
Most of all be genuine, because most people can tell when you talk with them if you really believe in the company and products. Show your passion for the business in everything you do.

One of the major items with SEO is to make sure to put the words and phrases that people would be searching for in your tags. This is a critical component.
Also you might consider making sure to include a blog on your site that and post articles about the products, services, and business and include these tag words and phrases.
Another way to increase your rankings is to comment on other peoples blog and including a link to your own website.
I am by no means an expert in this field but these are a few tools that can help increase your rankings on search engines.

One way that I have discovered to boost your place on search engines is to comment on blogs, articles, etc. and include your link either in the text or some blogs ask for your website address.
Search engines use various methods to get their information and the more your link appears in different places the higher your ranking is one of the methods used. So the best option is get your link in as many places as possible.
How do I assure that duplication happens in those I sponsor?

Hello Khalil,
This is a question that would have a very simple answer if it were not for the fact that you cannot control other peoples actions. As the old saying goes "You can lead a horse to water but you cannot make them drink".
However, I would suggest that you be the sponsor you would want to have. If you have an excellent sponsor then duplicate their actions, if not, then look to others who are movers and connect with them.
Ask yourself if I had the perfect sponsor what would they be doing to help me grow my business? Then do exactly that. The Golden Rule, so to speak, "Treat others the way you want to be treated".
Those who want to learn and grow this business are few and far between, but with steady work and patients it can pay off.
Wishing you much success!!
