It is important to make affiliates understand that they need to communicate well within SFI and externally. It will help affiliates understand what other affiliates are saying. It also means that they can express their own needs and concerns. The importance of communication skills can be seen when good, quality communication occurs that prevents misunderstandings, miscommunication and conflict. It produces productive work and performance that will ultimately affect your and their SFI business commissions/profits.

This is a subject that comes up quite often and this in itself suggests communication is an essential ingredient for both team leadership and team membership.

Communication is important in all aspects of our lives and when it comes to online work such as SFI, where there is little or no face-to-face interaction, one has to make use of the various resources of correspondence at our disposal to share ideas and also help others.

A problem, an idea or message that cannot be shared

Communication is undoubtedly a two way process and unless there is feedback, your message may not be relayed accurately or understood. This is one of the worse case scenario with affiliates who have the language barrier. However, SFI has simplified this as much as possible with the Sub-Category in the Forum where you are able to converse with your country's nationals in your chosen language.

I have the advantage of being able to converse in a series of languages, some are fluent and

Express to them that continuous communications is what has built great nations. That not communicating is what has cause many failures in relationships, on jobs, and public interactions.

Send e-Cards stating that they can contact you by SFIM or give them your phone number in case they need to reach you right away.

Let them know that when they succeed your succeed and that you'd be more than happy to assist them.

A good question,

In this business communication is an important strategy that ultimately leads us forward as a team, unfortunately, some are good at communicating, whilst others are not.

Myself, I fall into the latter group though I will always try to communicate with my team as often as I can, outside influences permitting.

That is why I recently introduced some group training in communication skills, so far I have sent 4 group mails with 4 lessons on communication

Good question. Effective Communication is significant for the team-building in SFI. Communication serves as a foundation for planning. Organizing also requires effective communication with others about their tasks. Similarly team leaders must communicate effectively with their team members so as to achieve the team goals. Thus, we can say that "effective communication is a building block of successful organizations, like SFI. In other words, communication acts as organizational blood.

Good communication is the lifeblood of any business! I emphasize good communication because you can have communication that fails to get your point across or communication where everyone is talking but no one is listening. Listening is vital. You need to hear and understand what your team member is saying. If you are not sure that you are getting the correct information, you need to ask questions.
You also need to be courteous. If you get an email from a team member who needs help,

Have yourself a parable.

A Parable for those who don't know is an object lesson or story that tells your message in a way the person reading or listening can best understand. People like to see how something applies to their lives and the narrative will help to understand exactly that.

Example:

With SFI you are a business owner and you have two choices for starting your business.

I think that because so many of the sign-ups are only exploring opportunities rather than joining with a ready-to-go mentality, we perceive this means that they are not interested in communicating.

For those that DO take interest, and log-in, there are other potential obstacles to communication such as schedule, level of seriousness, language, level of feeling independent, etc..

When you send your Team mail, or even E-Cards, include questions that invite a response. Ask them
