This is a great question because there are so many considerations on what the answer is.
First of all, the word "measure" needs to be clearly defined before "success" is even rated.
Let's begin this...MEASURE - as defined in the Collins dictionary is as follows, "1. Size or quantity. 2 graduated scale. 3 unit of size or quantity. 4 extent. 5 action taken. 6 be (a specified amount) in size or quantity. 7 carefully considered. 8 fulfil (expectations or requirements)
So from what the Collins dictionary identifies, this concept is a way to compare what you want to look at in size - an amount. Number 8 - is the best way to answer what "MEASURE" means in SFI - fulfil expectations or requirements.
With this in mind, it is up to you on what you want to see the quality of or the size of but be sure you create the expectation to help you measure the outcome of your efforts either on a daily, weekly, montly, bi-annually or annually.
Once you set your expectations, then this becomes your measuring stick. Use this measuring stick to help your business stay on track to meet your projected (predicttions) of growth.
You are the only one who can achieve this as you designed the expectation. When you meet the expectation, then you have successfully achieved your outcome. This is the second part - Success is the outcome of your own "measure".
Set your goals each month - SFI helps us by giving us a Goals tab to identify the expectations or "measure" for what we will work on. This is how you can determin your success.
Also it is important to remember what Zig Ziglar has been quoted to say, "you help others achieve what they want, you will achieve what you want". You want success, then help others achieve theirs.
Success is Yours!
