I don't think that "bribe" is the right word when talking about Gift Certificates, TCredits or other incentives for your downlines.
Bribe means to buy the conscience of somebody, wheras Gift Certificates, TCredits or other incentives are use to encourage our downlines to go forward or to achive a certain rank in SFI. we use it also to encourage those who are working hard here to fufill their goals.
So, "Is it wise to 'encourage' your downline with Gift Certificates, TCredits or other incentives Or, does this practice have been neglected by you?"

Incentives is a very good marketing tools:
- incentives must be used to permit both benefits to the team leader and the downlines
- it is a good investment because you earn in this case more than the value of the incentive, the less earn is 100 VP for downlines going EA, and more for downline going team leader
- for $12 gift card, you benefit also when downlines buys tripleclicks products
It takes a lot of work to reach a comfortable income level in this business. Thankfully we achieve this comfortable income level by not only the work we do ourselves, but also by the work of others in our team.
If we want to succeed in this business, we as team leaders have to be appropriate role models so others in our team can learn how to duplicate our success.
Like any other job, individuals should be rewarded for their hard work, not "bribed".

Giving your downline rewards, TCredits or incentives I think will motivates them more and it will build a good relationship between u as a sponsor and your affiliates. I don't see any reason for that to bite you in the future, however I see a good team spirit that would grow your generation and it would teach them the lesson to do the same to their downline. And it will motivates the other affiliates who are not doing well to improve their performance. I won't call it a bribe but rewards/gifts.
It's not bribing your PSA's, when you treat this as the real business it is, it's incentatives for your PSA's. If you were at your JOB and you were given a bonus would you consider this as a brite? It's the samething.
I don't know how you feel about your SFI Business but this is my real business. I hope that you can see that SFI is the business that works as a team and give bonuses or incentatives.
Thank you for that question.
No, it's unwise to bribe your downline and unethical, what you are giving to your downlines are incentives for a job well performed, that idea (INCENTIVEs/REWARDs) enhances them to be more productive for the success of your team. And as an advice( although you're not asking it), please that word "bribe" I believe is inappropriate chose of word and does not belong to the environment of this business. Bribing and rewarding are two different things of action and meaning and for sure if you do bribing it will come back to you and for sure it will bite you.

I got your sense of humour , your question 100% funny:) and the answer is YES.
and yes it can be done in many ways, but when it come to if it will come back and bite you? I don't think it will if you do the math right. think of it like this
IF YOU SPREAD SEEDS IN SPRING TIME, YOU WILL HAVE FLOWER IN THE SUMMER.
I believe it does work with a little luck too if your PSA ARE ACTIVE FROM WITHIN THEM SELF then they will lift up your business therefore they do deserve the bribe.

In SFI your success depends on your downline affiliates.
Bride. You give incentives to your downline to increase there ranks quickly for your own benefit. Because of the offer, they might fail to take necessary tasks to improve their knowledge and income.
Reward. Your downline increase their ranks and you offer a compliment in return for their action. This will motivate them to work even harder and also will motivate the your team.
Therefore, it is better to Reward rather then to Bribe.

I would not call it a bribe. Those are incentives, ways to keep your downline motivated. By giving them incentives you are giving them something to work for. By giving them incentives you are giving them hope, something to look forward, a goal. So, in short I would say NO, it won't come back to bite you. These may help some of them looking at their sponsor in a totally different way, thus, giving you a good rating.
If the gift certificate, TCredits or any other incentive is going to a member of your downline that is not doing anything to grow their business, then I will say it is a bribe and should stop.
If these are going but and falls short, then I will definitely support that move because it will be a form of encouragement for that member.
