Is it wise to 'bribe' your downline with Gift Certificates, TCredits or other incentives? Or does this practice come back and bite you?

Well this is certainly a very interesting and profound question and my take on why it is indeed wise to offer some reward / incentives or some of you here may regard it as a bribe when it is used in the right way or intention and perspective it can go a long way and will not come back anytime to bite you and not turn too good to the giver that is you.

Here you go on my input:

I guess when you offer incentives like gift certificates or Tcredits position as a contest or reward

The word ‘bribe’ should be removed in regards to this subject as issue of Gift Certificate, T-Credit and announcement of incentive is one of the keys of Rules of Success approved and authorized by SFI

This process helps us to build a strong and active down line team and also to increase the SFI business. So there is no proper reason to seem it ‘bribe’. You require the power of prudence, justice, views of far sight, focus before utilize this key strategy

Hello
Ian Chivers !!!

When You are considering about the downline it is better to give them a Gift certificate or Tcredit if they are active. If someone active only for their initial sign up granting incentives just waste of money. In other hand when your down line working hard to achieve several GOALS granting incentives encourage them to stay on the business. The practice should be done according to the practical outcome of the information provided through the center. It will

Hi, Ian.

I don't see why it would not be a good idea to reward the team for their activity. With PSAs, TCredits, gift certificates, e-books, etc. Of course, these awards are small, more symbolic than they can be classified as "bribe", so there is nothing to come back and bite us. :D

Active PSAs can only be a more active, inactive will not run. It is a matter of human motivation, internal and external. If people don't have the internal motivation, it will hardly anything

You should not call it "bribery" at all!
TCredits and Gift Certificates are GIFTS that express sponsor's desire to reward our efforts.
I was really happy when my sponsor sent me 10 TC! I felt like I was important to him.
Why would he throw his valuable credits, unless he thinks that I'm worth of it?
Next month I followed my sponsor's example and gave 10 TC to my most precious PSA.
She was very happy and thankful too!
So you can't "bribe" your downline,

Bribing is never a good thing because that means your affiliates are not motivated to succeed or do anything unless you give them something, that means that they did not earn it. So you should never give them any kind of incentive you have to reward them when they do their good work because you want to help them and show them that you care about their success and that you are not simply trying to make money from them.

An affiliate has to work because they want to succeed so the real

Hi, Ian,

What you call "bribe" is "incentive" for law-abiding citizens of SFI/TC.

If you check your Affiliate's Snapshot, read what it says on the Checklist and one of the suggestions is to offer TCredits, Gift Certificates, or a share in the Co-0p, or advertising leads, etc. to your new Affiliate to encourage and motivate them to build their business.

If it is not "wise" to do so, Gery Carson would not have included it in the things

I don't think trying to bribe your downline is a good way to conduct your business. I offer contests where my downline can win Gift Certificates and TCredits as incentives and to keep them motivated and working towards goals. It's just a way to reward them and give them a little something extra for working so hard and being active team members.

It's also a way to let my team know that I care and am interested in their success. Sometimes just that little bit of investment can be encouraging

When you say bribe, I wounder at what context, you use the word bribe. When you are building your business with those who partner with you and you are as well trying to carry everybody along and leaving no stone unturn. I wouldn't use that word 'bribe'anyway, on the other hand it all depends on your mind set. It is a different ball game here.

Does a trader pay customers to buy their products? No! am not sure. But in this 'downline' issue, in answering your question I will say Yes, on

In my opinion, it is a perception of a person. When we offer something to motivate people for their better job can be consider as a motivation and not "bribe". This is a token of appreciation given willingly to appreciate good job. In case of bribe, it is by compulsion or by force offer is made. The intentions are totally different when we offer these tokens as a motivation and as a bribe. Are we saying bribe when a prize is distributed to student who comes first in the class or school.
