Hi Joe,
I think the best and most convenient way to start with is by purchasing some brochure, flayers, gift cards from TripleClick, distribute brochures to them and out of curiosity, who knows most of them might be interested to sign up at SFI.
The other way is putting up flyers on the college notice board, and since most of the students are always looking for ways to make extra cash for their up keep, they will definitely fall for it.
The other appropriate way is by creating the available marketing strategies for recruiting the students, with the flyers given to them, communicate to them by the word of mouth, create group campaigns and teach and discuss with them the importance of joining SFI and the possibility of making extra cash. During these group campaigns and recruitment, you can give them Gift cards.

As a current college student and recent graduate, I can help you with this question.
You can be an ambassador for SFI and pass out some cards to students. Or if you're a student yourself, you can create and print up some flyers to put on the campus bulletin board. Of course, you'd have to get permission from your local Associated Student Organization.
Also, explain to students that SFI is a great way for them to earn commissions so they're able to cover the costs of tuition and books if financial aid doesn't suffice.
Hopefully my answer will help, from one student to another.

There have been plenty of answers to attract young college students.
Today"s classes are filled up with people from all stations of life. Some are young
students who went to college just after high school, some are retired folks who want
another source of income, some are children of well to do parents, and then the group
on public assistance.
Remember you are looking for your best five.Talk to people on the parking lot.If you see a small group just standing around, say a few words and see if they want to talk.
I like to walk around the block and see who I meet.Start up a conversation.
My favorite way is to visit the library near the college.Join it.Hold a couple of good books when you talk to someone.Sit on a bench outside and greet each person as they leave.
Your life will be enriched by meeting new people who all want to better themselves. Also you will be getting some exercise!
Is it really a relevant question, I am not sure.....But just to answer your query,
SFI is well established organisation having good team strength with huge amount of success behind it through wast amount of knowledge sharing and an opportunity to build business for making good handsome income for life.
Don't always look at College students, Rather i can precisely say that look at the people who are about to finish their college life and looking for great careers.
Along with the careers they take up after college you can brief them about SFI and its benefits and considering SFI as full time business. This transformation will take place if they see such commendable achievement and earnings in you and your team.
Do not look for new methods, whatever SFI provides knowledge at SFI basics, Launchpad and start presentation that's more than sufficient to attract anybody.......

You can use any mathods to attract college students to join SFI, because they are always looking for somethig new, including free, best offer, e-books, knowledge ...etc.
In my opinion you should to select a particular group of students like students of Marketing, Management , IT, Languages, Economics, Commerce ...etc.
This does not mean that other students are not interested in SFI.
Just go and you will see that the students be the best marketers.

First you have to get permission from the administration to post flyers or banners in the student centres or bulletin boards on campus at most schools. You could advertise in places where students meet off campus, such as pizza parlor or clubs. You could find out where business classes are held and contact the professor to see if SFI could be incorporated into their business class as Starting a small business forum. When you do make contact stress the low cost of SFI and the many free ways you can advertise. Also stress Pricebenders the auction site. Students love the excitement of auctions.

1 - Time is always at a premium. (Academics, social life, cramming for exams, etc.)
2 - Quick returns for effort and investment (they are at that stage in their lives)
The usual SFI approach WILL NOT WORK for these two reasons.(Put in the effort and you will earn after you learn and build your business)
You should use SFI tools that cater to the common factors of all students as shown above.
Attract them to SFI & TripleClicks through Live Auctions and Games.
These aspects of SFI will be most appealing to the widest cross-section of college students.

You can Distribute Cards and Flyers on Campus. With Permission to Post Flyers in areas that have Bulletin Boards. Their are Bulletin Boards all around Campus's and any Public Notice Area's. I know around our Campus, there are Convenience Stores, Grocery Stores, Coffee Shops, Laundry Mats etc. If you can Meet and Talk with some Students, or know some going to the Campus, you can Explain SFI to them and Ask them if they can Post the Flyers in the Dorms.
One thing about colleges is they always have bulletin boards galore. Try making fliers to put on their ad boards, and check them at least once a week. If you happen to know anybody that goes to a college you can use that person to hand out your ads. One way that I have seen to advertise is to make your ads with little tabs with your contact info
on them, this way they can tear the tab off and you can keep count of how many tabs have been removed.
