First you have to get permission from the administration to post flyers or banners in the student centres or bulletin boards on campus at most schools. You could advertise in places where students meet off campus, such as pizza parlor or clubs. You could find out where business classes are held and contact the professor to see if SFI could be incorporated into their business class as Starting a small business forum. When you do make contact stress the low cost of SFI and the many free ways you can advertise. Also stress Pricebenders the auction site. Students love the excitement of auctions.

In my brief experience with SFI I would say people who you know and have the same motivation as you in building a business. I say this because I have purchased PSA and have found that they aren't truly motivated because they don't do the work necessary to succeed. You will have to purchase many PSA's to find a couple. At the cost it might still be beneficial to go this route.

I believe you should set both short and long term goals. The short term goals should be ones that you strive to achieve every month so you can gage your progress in the business. They will keep you motivated and focused. This will help you achieve your long term goals. For example if your long term goal is financial independence a short term goal of attaining a couple of EA's every month will help you reach your main goal. If you achieve 2 EA's every month that is 24 a year. If half of those 24 reach BL or higher by the end of the year you will be well on your way to achieving financial independence in a few years. We have to be forward thinkers or visionaries. We must also be patient and realistic with our goals. I help this will help someone.

In my opinion the best incentive to offer prospects has to to be the $12 gift certicate. I say this for two reasons. One is it has value and everyone likes value when it cost them nothing. The second reason is once they use the gift certificate it introduces them to the possibilities of SFI the business. It can reveal a little of the true value of SFI and its components. I hope this explanation is helpful to someone.

I personally send an email once a week to all my members giving them encouragement. I try to motivate them by telling them what I accomplished in that past week. Always be positive, sometimes with some tough love by telling those inactive PSA/CSA's that they will have to take action daily to succeed. When they see what I've done in the past week I explain to them that I am nobody special and if I can do it so can they. I also praise those that have been active in the past week. You can find this out by checking your genealogy report which shows you when your team members last logged into the system. I have purchased PSA's but none have done anything, but by word of mouth showing my excitement about the business of SFI I have gotten two active PSA's to join. So I would definitely say word of mouth communication is best. I hope this helps someone.
PS: I am still going to purchase PSA to go!!!!!

What makes you persevere with SFI and not quit?

I have been searching for an opportunity like the one in SFI forever. I have spent thousands of dollars on false hopes and promises. In SFI you get out of it what you put into it. I have found that by taking daily actions you advance. I would add that the fact that SFI is free to join and that it has no monthly fees is incredible. Yes you have to invest some money, but it is your choice as to when and how much you want to invest. I might add that the support system which is found in SFI is second to none. All of these things gives you the motivation to persevere. You also need self-motivation, but SFI is the real deal.
