Is it worthwhile to send individual welcome letters to new PSAs...or can I just send out group mailings?

NO!! NO!! NO group mailings to brand new PSAs!!!

It is very important to establish a regular routine of personal contact with your PSAs. You can send the original welcome message automatically if you have it as a personal "letter" without naming the individual specifically. Be sure to include the tip about 500VP w/in first 24hrs. to gain the additional 200VP. That is a heck of a bonus to get them fired up about SFI! :)

Within a day, max 2, send them at least an E-Card

Using the group mailing encourages your team and they get to see that your team is growing which in turn motivates them

Hi Jovan,

There are those that will tell you that the new affiliate gets plenty of emails as it is, but none of those are going to be personalized emails.

It is up to you and the affiliates co-sponsor to put the personal side of SFI to your new affiliate. SFI prides itself on giving personal service by way of the sponsors and co-sponsors, so you need to to be the person to put that personal face to your affiliates.

Sending individual welcome letters is the best way for newly joined personally sponsored affiliates. Sending welcome letters your PSA will be appreciated to work continuously in your team as well as encourages your personally sponsored affiliates to work.

In the same way I am doing this to my PSAs. I will be giving now and then follow-ups to encourage them and also advise them how to manage the works and how to become Team leader. I also send them E-cards to welcome and to greet.

Hello Jovan,

Thank you for the question. For every new PSA I send individual e-mail. I greet them and write their name in the text. I want them to feel special and to understand that there is someone that cares and will help them.

Team e-mail I send to all my PSAs, CSAs and whole downline at least once a week. I don't want to overwhealm them with lots of e-mails, but if something special happens or I feel I need to forward them an important information, I write an extra e-mail.

Both individual welcome letters and group mailings have their uses. I like to greet new PSAs individually, asking them about their backgrounds in their different countries, and if I remember (I'm still working my way through the Quantum Memory course I picked up!), I translate the message into their native language to make comprehension easier. It really helps to know an affiliate so that you can both teach and motivate. By contrast, I have found that group mailings are better for announcements

To answer your question, its better to send individual welcome emails. Everyone likes to know that their Sponsor has taken time out of their busy schedule to say hello. This is a personal greeting.

Leave group mailers for important messages.

Give one on one help when you can do so.

Members of your downline follow your examples. So you want to teach them to contact every member and give them all the help they will need. So I recommend emailing PSA individually and

I think you should consider both options. Group mailings are a good way of keeping your PSAs interested, motivated and active and you can send them once a week. In a group mailing you can draw attention to a specific resource, method, technique and elaborate a bit on the topic as to draw interest and call to action. Group mailings are also good for various announcements: contests, offers etc.

This is what I do, and I'm a Silver Team Leader holding an 'overall power rank' in the top ten, and first in my 'class'.

If I have say 100 new affiliates that join on one day, it is very tedious to send out an e Card or individual letter to everyone. E Cards are the most effective for sure, though, and I always use them if I just have a few new affiliates. Chat, of course, is the most effective if they are online.

While your weekly/bi-weekly/monthly newsletter to your team can be "generic" group mailings (they should still be personalized as much as possible), your welcome letters to new PSAs need to be "personal".

You should take the time to look at each of their Affiliate Snapshots and VP Ledgers to get an idea of who you are dealing with and what you can offer them to help them get started in the best way.
