In order to become successful at SFI, the most important personal characteristics you need are persistence, dedication, patience, enthusiasm and a willingness to work hard. You also need to be focused, unrelenting and resilient, especially when the results you seek take longer than expected to materialize.

If you are not a natural born leader, you need to learn how to become one, especially if your plan is to recruit and then guide a team of affiliates. You also need to have or hone your organizational and communications skills in order to create an active and receptive downline that follows your lead and is willing to learn from your example.

Finally, you need to be optimistic and always have a positive attitude, especially when facing adverse situations. If you spread that positive energy to everyone around you, you will attract a following that will in turn motivate you and reward you with the support you need to succeed in this business.

One personal characteristic you need to succeed in SFI is to never give up. Network marketing can be a daunting task to people who first start out. The promises might sound great when you first get in, but when money doesn't start rolling in overnight, one of the easiest things to do is quit and move on.

You should also have some patience. Learn to develop that as you proceed in the program. You will need it when you look at what you have achieved, and in working with your own recruits who are starting out. Success doesn't happen instantly, and patience is the key.

This might sound a little strange, but a real basic skill needed is copying and pasting. Some people who join SFI may not have spent a lot of time in the computer world with sending and communicating with emails and texts. You need to learn this skill to post your ads or develop your own blog or website.

Another skill that is really helpful is knowing the English language enough to understand the SFI site. I don't know how well the translation programs work, but since SFI/TripleClicks is in English, that language skill will go a long way to improving your chances of success with SFI.

SFI like any other business requires you to :

1. Develop the quality of courage and persistence.
Courage to begin /launch your business, plan, take action without guarantees. This is not a get rich quick scheme that guarantees income without work.
Persistence- never give up no matter what.

2. Remember every skill in any business is learnable including SFI. We are always one skill away from being successful in our field.

3. Our motto: Aim High Dream Big should be a personal slogan. Be a dreamer. Imagine all the nice things you wish for and work towards them.

4. Love what you do here at SFI and commit to excellence. Aim to be in the top lots( leadership boards). We should take note that some doing well were once doing poorly.

5. See yourself as self-employed at SFI. Take full responsibility for your own business. Decide exactly what you want and make a plan how you will achieve it. Determine the price you will pay to get your business running and resolve to pay the price in advance. No good thing comes easy.

6. Refuse to accept the possibility of failure. Become an unshakable optimist. Try the right things at the right time and keep going.

7. Dedicate yourself to lifelong learning. Read the launchpad lessons and take every internet income course you can.

8. Develop a workaholic mentality. Work all the time you work and avoid distractions. Successful people normally start work a little bit early and work a little bit late.

9. Get around the right people. Associate with winners at SFI who are upbeat. Choose your a2a friends well and learn a thing or two from them.

10. Be prepared to climb from peak to peak in your team building and duplication methods. Keep going and develop resilience. Always bounce back even after unsuccessful advertising campaigns.

11. Lastly but more importantly, have the quality of self discipline. Alway force yourself to do what you know you should do. Stick to your routine, your team support messages and your work ethics. With self discipline to do something everyday, you move one step forward towards achieving your goals at SF.

This question does not only relate to SFI, but to any project (home business) a person attempts.

Keep on keeping on - that's the secret.

Quite often doubt will creep in and you will be wondering whether you were actually sane when you committed to this project/business. People could make fun of you, making negative comments about your endeavour. Irrespective of these responses you get, you should have belief in what you have decided to pursue. That is when your character will be tested and whether you genuinely want to be successful. You have to be willing to grant yourself time to achieve the success you want.

No business will be successful overnight. Your persistence and commitment will determine your level of success. Don't try and create/invent your own system. Use the tried and tested one that is being promoted.

Be true to yourself and never give up. Whenever doubt creeps in, remember the reason why you started your home based business. That is, in my humble opinion, the only guarantee to success.

This is a good question.

I believe that being open to learn new things is the beginning of success to SFI. With the desire to learn more, you get to earn more, not just in terms of financial but personal development as well.

Then with more learning, motivation and passion are developed as well. This can be measured with our patience and persistence in doing our daily, weekly and monthly tasks and being active participant in Tripleclicks games and activities, and SFI forum and Ask SC as well.

SFI helps us become a team worker as well. Communication to motivate others and duplicate what we are doing is also important. Humility to accept that we do not have all the answers in the world and we need the assistance of our upline team is also something we have to own.

One thing for sure, what we have before we entered SFI will definitely be improved and developed here in SFI with passion, persistence and patience...

1. Self determination and motivation are two of the most important. When you start SFI you have points available to you that you won't have later. That means you have to generate action points in other ways. When you see each month that you start at zero points for each month it can be overwhelming/discouraging for some. therefore the motivation and determination must come from within.

2. Being open to learn and taking action on what you have learned. Reading and learning about SFI and ways to advertise and market your business. If you have no experience it doesn't matter if you set yourself to learn as much as you can to run/manage and grow your business. Knowledge without action is empty. Planning-Plan your goals and strategy based on what products you want to promote. What will be your action steps each month to get you to your over all goal.

3. Being willing to invest in yourself and your business. Use free tools as you must and need but at some point in order to propel your business to the next level you will need to invest. By investing in your business you are investing into yourself and your future business.

4. Learn as much as you can about leadership, motivating and teaching others. As your business at some point will depend on your duplication efforts and a bulk of your residual income is tied to your ability to motivate, cultivate leadership and teaching others to do what you have done. So again learning yourself your business inside and out. Reading, learning and absorbing as much information offered at SFI News, Forums, Ask SC, Your Sponsor's and Co-Sponsors, Upline, Trainings and outside materials.

5. Don't take non responses or inactive affiliates personally. Know that with or without your assistance it has to come from within each individual and they have to have the drive and determination for themselves. You can share and show them the vision, the steps, the bigger picture but you can't make them want to succeed or work their business.

First of all you have to be organized, personable, goal orientated and want to succeed, so you have drive.

To be aware at all times who your movers are and give them recognition. After all, in any organization it is people that want to be recognized for a job well done, it is motivating. If you are motivated you will work, but also creating an environment for teamwork and team players . Having said that you still have to keep in mind why it is that you joined SFI.
