While you are explaining to them about SFI, you also explain that this, that, the other steps involved in building their business take TIME!
Point out that: "Rome wasn't built in a day"; "large oaks from little acorns grow"; "slow and steady gets the job done", among others you may know.
The learning required will take some time, and understanding. Skill and comfort with the SFI program will come naturally as they learn, and maybe more quickly than they might think. Remind them of "quality, not quantity".
Try not to make it sound overwhelmingly slow, but be honest enough to make them realize that their goal should be for long-term residual income, not an overnight, here-today-gone-tomorrow kind of plan.
SFI is not hard to learn, just time-consuming, and one CAN earn commissions while they are still learning. Maybe only a few dollars at a time, but as long as they are steady, and steadily getting to be a little more every month, then progress is being made, and success is closer every month.
Help them realize to have goals, but ones that are reasonable to accomplish.
