The least expensive is NOT the "best" way to build your personal SFI Website in my opinion. However, let's cover the "least expensive" and then what I would consider the "best" way to build a personal SFI Website.

The least expensive way to establish a professional presence on the internet is to use one of the FREE blog services like:

WordPress.com (notice that the .com extension is used for the HOSTED version of WordPress)
Blogger.com
Tumblr.com

All three of the recommended services have excellent systems in place and will allow you to get up and running quickly in a professional manner. As a matter of fact, SFI uses WordPress.com for it's Official News Blog (news.sfimg.com) so that's an impressive testimonial all by itself.

I would consider the "best" way to build your personal SFI Website to be with the FREE self-hosted version of WordPress.

WordPress.org (notice that the .org extension is used for the SELF-HOSTED version of WordPress)

Unlike the above "least expensive" recommendation my "best" recommendation would require:

1) The purchase of a domain name (annual cost).

2) The purchase of a hosting service (monthly cost).

3) Optionally the purchase of a professionally programed "theme" for your WordPress site (one-time cost). A theme that uses "child" themes is a BIG plus. I strongly recommend a theme that has been optimized for SEO and is responsive to ALL devices that may access your site (Responsive Design is IMPORTANT). Also, I can't stress enough how SEO friendly a WordPress site can be with the right theme. I regularly see pages indexed by Google in just minutes after being published. Impressive!

4) Optionally the purchase of professionally programed "plug-ins" to add value-adding features to your WordPress site (one-time cost per plug-in).

I would also like to stress that there are tens of thousands of FREE plug-ins and themes for the self-installed version of WordPress. However, I've found that the professionally programmed/supported plug-ins and themes have a better pay-back in results.

If you go with the "best" recommendation then you have total control over all aspects of your site like setting up a forum, taking surveys or setting up highly customized forms just to name a few. You can add all the features you want! You have total control!

Remember to use the 80/20 rule and do not over complicate your site. Stay focused with one central theme per website. Use a/b split testing to improve your site. Focus on benefits!

BONUS RECOMMENDATION: Use three separate services, if possible, for your domain name, email service and website hosting. You want to avoid having a single point of failure. It just makes business sense!

You can get your own personalized SFI website or blog for free. There are lots of publishing services offering free hosting and quite decent service. The most popular ones are WordPress, Blogger, Tumblr and Wix.

All of these services have excellent systems in place and will allow you to get up and running quickly in a professional manner. You can create your own website(s) and establish links to all your SFI gateways. All these hosting sites are very easy to handle and completely free of charge.

Be aware though that Blogger recently classified SFI and TripleClicks as SPAM, so they might suddenly decide to ban your site. SFI uses WordPress.com for its blogging outlet, so you are probably in better hands choosing them.

A frequently updated blog is a must-have if you want to attract notable traffic to your site. Remember to keep it simple though and stay focused with one central theme per website.

You are on the right track by establishing your own SFI blog/website. It bears many advantages but most importantly, you are sending the right signal to your downline. They see your success and want to replicate it. The ultimate key to duplication!

I would like to share my experience. I bought a website from TripleClicks that I could afford. And I did not have to do anything everything was done by the ECA. The only information they needed was a website name which I had to give them of my own choice and I had to give them my SFI URL gateways and they do the rest. When my website was ready to be launched they contacted me to approve it. So I had to check the color which was my choice of course and the banner they placed on it and they do modification according to your taste and bingo it was set to go.
Now my job is to advertise my website and I do it on FB, Twitter, Linkadin, etc. Only one payment for my purchase from TripleClicks.

You will als have your website URL that you can use with your own SFI URL to advertise your business. My website advertises my own SFI Business and a tiny little ad at the bottom advertises for the company who did my website. But for me it is worth it.

So what I found to be the best and least expensive way to build a personal SFI Website is to purchase your website that you can afford from TripleClicks.

There are many other advantages of doing this :
- you are shopping from your own store it is affordable.
- you don't do any work they do it all for you.
- you will have an opportunity to review the product where you will receive 25 VP's.
- you will also earn versapoints and action points.

One risk of purchasing from outside source would be that it will be expensive and you never know it may even be spam or scam product.

I am glad that more and more affiliates are starting to see the big role of a personal SFI website/blog in our quest to find affiliates.

This necessity came when major social media websites started to detect SFI links as spamming. This is because of so many SFI affiliates are promoting their links indiscriminately.

Personal SFI website/blog is not only for promotion in social media but also good for search engine optimization where we can have free traffic who are looking for online opportunities.

Other sponsors are using their personal SFI site for encouraging their affiliates. They put their strategies there and invite their affiliates to read it.

Now what is the best and least expensive way to have this website? The good news is you can have one starting from FREE up to the most expensive website you like.

The free ones are from free blog hosting like bloggers.com - you can set it up in five minutes and immediately start posting.

They key however to have a professional looking website in these free blog hosting is you know how to modify the page format including the favicon (the small icon you see in your browser when you open the site).

To make this even more professional, you buy a domain name (about $10 per year) with .com and link your site in blogger to that domain name. You don't have to pay monthly web hosting to have a professional looking dot(.)com website.

I hope that the suggestion above will solve the cost of having a personal SFI website.

To have a good website (whether its free or not) is to have a quality content. The content is still the one given big weight by any search engine. So concentrate in giving quality original content. It should have value to the people who will read it.

Here is my suggestion to bring out quality content in your website.

1. Study all the aspects of SFI and TripleClicks business model.

2. Have a list of all the topics you would like to cover.

3. List 3 to five keywords for each topic in your list.

4. Explain the keywords in paragraph form.

5. Look and include 1 picture in your write-up.

I have a big hope that you can produce quality content if you follow this suggestion.

My thought on what will be the better and least inexpensive as well as effective ways in building a personal website will entail on the following factors not necessarily in order of merit here:

You can ask mr Google or YouTube and type how to set up your own website and basically it will literally walk you thru it is really that simple :

Or go and Register some easy to remember domain names and have it registered thru either GDI or godaddy etc

Try the following which has easy to use scripts to set you up with a running website in less than a fee minutes WordPress.com or Tumblr. Com or Blogger.com to set up and create your own website

Remember to incorporate the KISS principle keep is simple and stupid that is easy for everyone to navigate no flash no fancy stuff for some free scripts to create own website that you can subsequently load in your own web hosting account

And tweak it along the way and remember to maintain it periodically and I suggest that you look at your fellow SFI affiliates and model after the successful ones to see how they run it just keep it simple and easy to navigate

There are quite a number of great, Free and affordable ways to build a personal SFI website but I will touch on a few best ones.

Lastly, for a few extra bucks, you could simply outsource all of that work at fiverr starting at $5 per gig. Those guys are great and the best thing is that you get to chose and hire the best developer to do the work for you.

you question obviously is telling us you're just starting building sites.

While everybody is pointing to Wordpress and so, which are good, I suggest you go to GODADDY to register a Personal Domain Name.

With that registration you are entitled to an INSTANT PAGE for a whole year.
This will give you a head start and you will get to know the basics of a web site.
It's very simple and it's a great introduction to you personally.

Once you get the mechanics down of the whole complete process, you can either upgrade or find another host, but keep the one going.

Somewhere here in SFI in the news has been mentioned that SFI has become a reseller or affiliate with GoDaddy and I wish that link was easier to find - it's a small way of contributing to SFI to register through that link.

The STARTER PAGE is an excellent personal intro page to your new endeavor.
I can only recommend it - you'll get the regular basic pages all on 1 page.
And it's only 13$ for the domain name.

There are plenty of places offering free websites and they have particular styles you can choose from. With these you don't need to know any html. You write in the box they tell you to write in and upload pictures where they say to upload them. You often don't get your own domain name with these, but have the provider's name with a forward slash and then the name you want.

These are okay for a start, but I don't think they give you the flexibility of a site that you completely build yourself from scratch. It might sound daunting, but it's not that hard once you learn how.

I went to the local TAFE (low cost adult education)and did a course in basic computer. It covered how to use Word and Excel etc and also included a unit on web design and html. We built websites just using Notepad. I loved it and went back a couple of years later and specifically did a course in Web Design where I learnt to use Dreamweaver and learnt CSS styling. It appeals to my creative side and doesn't cost much at all.

Of course there is much more I need to learn to make a complicated website, but I can make a simple site with multiple pages and forms and download links etc.

Paying someone else to build your site can be very expensive, and other site building programs don't give you your own opportunity for creativity, so I think If you want a site that is uniquely yours, go and learn how to do it yourself! That is what I would recommend you do. You'll really enjoy it as well.
