There are quite a number of great, Free and affordable ways to build a personal SFI website but I will touch on a few best ones.
1.I got a TripleClicks ECA email today advertising a bonus give away of a fully fledged and highly optimized SFI website built for you when you make a purchase of an Item in his store which is searchable by Google(Submitted to 1000's of search engines which includes Yahoo, Google, smaller search engines and Directories, FFA Link Pages and more with mobile viewing).
I thought, that was really a very cool offer for a few bucks coming from our very own ECA. This kind of site comparatively could cost hundreds of dollars elsewhere. Go to TripleClicks and search then connect.
2. Blogger and WordPress are simply another fantastic place to not only build but learn a lot about building your own website. WordPress offers many building tools and types of themes you can chose from to personalize the look and feel of your website. Provided you maintain the dot word press dot com domain name, hosting remains free. You have an option of upgrading later on if you chose to.
Blogger and WordPress are great blogging sites that are totally free. But did you know you can also build regular website using Blogger & Wordpress? These can be great, free tools and you can point your domain name to them so that it doesn't read "yourbusiness.blogger.com"
3. Wix. Wix is another FREE and completely newbie friendly type of blogging website with a drag and drop functionality. No coding necessary or learning of HTML and geeky stuff. It's absolutely easy to build your site with Wix. They have great templates to chose from. You could even set up an online store if you like to. Of course there is an option for upgrade should you decide to get rid of the dot wix domain name for your own personal one.
4. Apple's website building tool - Did you know that it is possible to build sites with Apple's iweb software? Yes it is and the quality will pleasantly surprise you. They're clean and simple and with a bit of guidance from a professional about what to include and how to avoid common mistakes you'll be well on your way. Of course, you want to have a Mac computer and you'll get the most mileage from the tool if you have a .mac account or another hosting account. Mac users can consider iWeb a good source for building a simple free website.
With all of the DIY tools remember one thing – your website is only as good as its content. Make sure your content isn't just "descriptive" or leading nowhere. Create content that asks for an action - moving visitors one step closer to being customers at TripleClicks or potential SFI prospects
