Thank you for asking a question that most affiliates wrestle with nearly every day if they want to succeed. If there is one foolproof answer, I haven't found it but I will continue to search for it. I have learned that communication and commitment are two very important keys to use with your new recruits. Send a welcoming message as soon as you get the notification. Introduce yourself and let them know that you are committed to them and to their success. Give them your contact information and that you are available to help them. Encourage them to get started on their Launchpad Lessons. I encourage them to take notes and to write down any questions that they have. If you are contacted, reply as soon as possible. Be polite and courteous at all times.
Each of us has been a new affiliate so we know that it is easy to get overwhelmed by all the information we have to learn and become discouraged. I remember thinking that when my sponsor was talking about PSAS, CSAS, MRP, VP, etc., he was speaking a language that I had never heard before and wasn't sure that I could learn. He was patient with me and he believed that I could succeed. His confidence in me was the main factor that kept me going when I felt like giving up! He taught me to aim high and dream big. His example is the example that I follow.
