Before trying to approach the CEO or other VIP or a large, national company to become an ECA please be aware of the following:
1. Whether the Company has got its own web site & doing on line business?
2. If not, if they have any immediate plans to do it or not?
3. What sort of products they are manufacturing or dealing in?
4. Whether they are fast moving FMCG Products?
5. Whether the products have high volume sales locally?
6. What is the performance of the Company in terms of Sales in the last couple of years?
7. How does it rank when compared with its competitors?
Once you have all these details & satisfied with yourself that its worth meeting the Company officials, please:
1. Have all details about SFI & TripleClicks;
2. Better have a slide presentation;
3. Have a brief about the Founder and President Gery;
4. Arm yourself with adequate details for all the anticipated questions & clarifications from the company side;
5. Then fix up an appointment to meet the CEO or the decision making person of the
Company;
6. Meet them on the appointed date and present everything like a seasoned professional;
7. But never forget to mention that you are not the owner of either SFI or TripleClicks nor you meet them on their behalf. Plainly introduce that you are an independent Contractor of SFI and that you are there to explore possibilities of a tie up with them by which they can become an ECA of TripleClicks.Com & promote their products for a huge global consumers.
8. Once everything is completed, seek their opinion and provide details and clarifications for any questions they have.
9. Based on their reaction, please have follow up meetings & try to conclude the deal.
10. Even if their reaction is not fruitful, do not get discouraged. Look & explore other
opportunities elsewhere.
