This is a very good question, especially to those that are new to Internet Marketing.
The vast majority of people that sign up for an online business are seeking quick means to financial success. They may sign up to dozens of sites only to find they actually need to apply themselves to make money and succeed, then simply give up and become inactive.
However, do NOT let that discourage you from trying to get them to be active.
The beauty of SFI is that it offers many tools to encourage new sign-ups to become active.
I'd advise you to do these things:
1) Send a personal Welcome ECard - This shows the sign-up that a REAL person exists that is willing to help and support them in their SFI endeavors.
2) Use your Genealogy Report - You can access EVERYTHING about the sign-up, including his/her country, language, etc. You can also send personal email messages as well as sending them a "Team Mail" message, which is part of your To Do List Tasks.
3) Explore Exchanging - If the sign-up is from a different country, you can try exchanging him/her for a person in your own country/language.
In summary, you cannot force anyone to stay engaged with SFI, but you can offer them your best knowledge and advice and hope they respond.
Hope this helps.
