Confusion in SFI is as a result of lack of focus, not following the training schedule, and not staying in the charted path for growing the business. It is illustrated in some of the Forum posts that clearly show affiliates being confused on some important aspects about building an SFI Business and how to take advantage of the features and benefits of the major streams of income.
This could be easily avoided.
From the time we sign up, SFI Corporate strives tho show us how this business is straightforward, and makes every efforts to help us focus on what is essential, keep it simple, avoid confusion so that we understand how to grow our teams.
In the very first messages sent to new members, focus is put on helping them understand SFI Basics. If they truly follow the guidelines: watch the introductory video, read the SFI Basics, work on their "To-do-list", go through their launchpad lessons one by one, understanding the information and applying the tips, they will see how building an SFI business can be reduced to few simple daily actions, which, when executed perfectly and repeatedly, will bring positive results and help them be successful.
It is the role of the sponsor to gently steer their team member back to the proven methods and to the path of success.
When noticing confusion in an affiliate's behavior and actions, the first step the sponsor should take is clarify the situation and explain the concepts. I recently had a message from one of my Co-Sponsored affiliates (CSAs) mixing genealogy and upline. I first explained the difference and then pointed out tips on how to use both to grow their businesses. I can mention similar examples from my PSAs as well as my a2a friends.
The point is to clear out any confusion first; second, steer affiliates to reviewing the "SFI Basics"; and third, work with new affiliates to guide them in taking the training seriously so as to avoid confusion in the first place.
Leading a team requires clarity communication, open lines and availability on shot notice to provide assistance, clarification, guidance and help
In our team mails, SFI IM chats, stream posts as well as individual one-to-one communications, it is important to always present the motivational messages as well as tips in simple, clear, and easily understandable sets of actions.
To help our affiliates duplicate our team building efforts, we should focus on motivating them to take action, doing the core activity that will yield results, help them make progress and put them on the track of earning an income while improving their team leadership ranks.
A practical example is to go back to the basics of sponsoring, promoting TripleClicks, referring both PRMs and ECAs. In this context, it would be beneficial to guide and help our affiliate to review the basics of:
- sponsoring and building a team by revisiting the SFI Income Index and the Plan
https://www.sfimg.com/the_plan
- promoting TripleClicks and referring PRMs with a brush up of the methods and tools at the Marketing Center
https://www.sfimg.com/Resources/MarketingCenter, and
- sign-up E-Commerce Associates (ECAs) through a fresh reading of the guidelines on ECAs.
To sum up we need both to clear existing confusion and help our team members get back to the basics while guiding new sign-ups to take the training very seriously.
