As for as New Affiliates:
Through our own experience we have found out that many of them do not furnish either the correct mail id or the contact numbers. Purely because of this, we are forced to use the SFI Mailer System to send our communication with a hope that they will respond.
In most of the cases, we do not get their replies and sooner we realize that they remain inactive despite our regular follow.
Further, unless you have your new affiliates coming from your own Local Area/Region or Country communicating with them over phone does not seem economical. It is better if we communicate through tools provided by SFI in the initial stages.
Our aim should be to create trust in their minds and that we are there only to support them with all our hearts. When we demonstrate our intent clearly through our actions, slowly they will start believing us. If we continue this way, I am sure we will be able to establish a good rapport with them. It is then, it will be possible to create closeness with them and communicate with them through phone.
Until such time, communication will be better only through SFI Mailer System.
Warm Market:
A warm market is a network of potential customers that you've had some previous contact or relationship with, including family, friends, co-workers, church members, club/group members, and neighbors.
Since most of them will be know to you to some extent communication through phone is a good idea.
Where ever possible, meet & discuss with them face to face.
In other cases, you can always speak to them over phone.
1. No need to stand on formalities.
2. You can speak to them casually.
3. Show your genuine interest in their welfare.
4. Understand their family back ground/situation.
5. Speak to them with lot of concern.
6. Use gentle and soft voice.
7. Listen to them without losing patience.
8. Use your words carefully and politely.
9. Based on the situation react positively & then speak about what you are doing, etc.
10. Based on the conversation, try to meet them personally.
11. Even, if the reaction is negative, please do not give up on them.
12. After some time, try to contact them.
13. No need to pretend or use sugar coated words.
14. Speak with lot of honesty & open mindedness.
15. Whether they accept your offer or not, at the end of the day, your relationship or friendship or
closeness with them should be in tact. This is most important.
Conclusion:
Please consider all these before you initiate a phone conversation with your warm market. Again remember, a warm market consists of people with whom you already have a connection. Do not force them directly or indirectly to accept what you offer. Help them to understand how you really want
to support them. Phone conversation should lead you to meet them personally & speak face to face. This is what you have to ensure.
