My best suggestion would be to take one thing at a time.
If you have a team member that is actively asking questions and continuing communication with you. Then let them know that you are there to help and guide them. Help them with the questions they have one at a time until they let you know that they have a good understanding. Once you have satisfactorily answered a question or cleared up the confusion, move on to the next question.
One thing to remember, if you don't give up on them; they won't give up on their business. The biggest thing would be to have patience. Having patience will help you provide good, easy to understand guidance to help your team member.
