One of the old methods of working an affiliate program like SFI was to incorporate the use of telephone marketing. This is done by running ads that have prospects calling your business phone if they want more information.
I used this system by running ads in local and national newspapers for people to call a toll free 2 minute recorded message and the message would direct them to leave their phone number and the best time to reach them. This system does draw the contacts and it stays within all the “no-call” laws and spamming laws because your contacts are calling you and giving you permission to call them.
It takes someone with thick skin to be able to work a phone campaign properly. The reason I say this is because there are many people who will answer your ad just to make fun of what you are doing and you will get a lot of people who gave you phone numbers that are no good. You will also receive people who will have you call them so they can hang up on you when you’re sharing the information.
When using the phone methods please remember that that in many countries (including the United States) you cannot call someone who has not given you permission to call them. You can rack up some serious fines against you by doing this.
As far as contacting your warm market by phone is a great way to gain prospects and sign-ups and it is legal because they you personally know them. But I must say you should not use a script to talk to your warm market.
The reason I say this is because most people (friends and relatives also) may hang up on you as soon as they can tell that you are using a sales pitch on them. This can destroy your relationships with your warm marketing.
Learn your SFI and TripleClicks business well enough to talk to your warm market as you would talk to your best friends and then bring up information about your fantastic business and how excited you are to be able to share the information with the people you care about the most.
If anything is written at all just use an outline of what you want to share so you will not forget to cover important selling points in trying to gain them as a prospect and affiliate.
Speak from a script and you will get hang-ups and enemies.
Speak from the excited enthusiasm, and passion that is in your heart and you will gain sign-ups.
