I believe that the best way to lead a Team is by the leaders themselves learning something new everyday.
When you are asked a question by your team about SFI, it is perfectly ok if you don't know the answer straight away, don't panic and be honest.
I tell my team that I am always learning with SFI and I will find the answer for them. Then you MUST find the answer to their question.
You may have to do the hard work but in the end you will also learn for the next time some other member asks.
Your team will notice that you care.
In actual fact, with this method, the more questions you are asked, the more knowledge you are achieving and the better prepared you are becoming in helping your team and yourself to grow.
You will start empowering yourself and your team is gaining knowledge.
They will learn from your actions and might even in some cases, they might find the answer for themselves and get back to you all pleased that they found the answer. In this case booster them up for finding the answer and thank them for letting you know.
You feel good that they did their work and they feel good because they helped the leader.
Everyone wins.
