Motivation is the keyword when it comes to team performance. How to encourage and keep your team energy at a high will be an important part of your responsibility as a Sponsor. Feeling appreciated and ensuring that you reward your high achievers is instrumental in keeping that team spirit.
I have absolutely zero input from my Sponsor but my upline support team member ensures that I also benefit from his achievements and I feel special because :-
1. I am surprised every now and then by his generosity - when there are some extra funds lying around (in his language) he passes them on to his team members; he shows appreciation by way of a reward.
2. He supports his down line's ECAs and that means that he buys from his team members, this is an excellent approach to motivating and encouraging others to own an ECA.
3. Communicating on a regular basis with your team members to let them know that you are there for them is part of that team building effort - to create a rapport between you and your Sponsor so you are no longer in business together but your relationship is more of a friend.
You have to constantly and consistently be visible by your team through the team mail, chat, e-cards or an email. Instilling to them the commitment to continue with the business and persevering against all odds. These are some of the messages you have to pass on to your team that they are capable of succeeding in this business and letting them know that you will be there to support their cause.
