When you start out in business - say a brick and mortar store - you didn't begin the store with the idea in mind that tomorrow you were going to be rich. You knew at the outset all the work, investment, hours you would be putting into your business to make it a success.
That is what he's looking at here. A lot of hard work - all he can give - is what is required to get a business off the ground. Yes, he's putting a lot into it but he has to let it grow, mature, become something.
In the case of SFI, he is not alone. He has so many avenues of help available to him. Ask him to look forward, down the road, what can he see? Where does he want his business to be? Only he can answer that and it is all determined by what he puts into it in the beginning.
