As it can be overwhelming for a new affiliates, it is important to remember how you felt when you first joined SFI and empathize with your new team members.
I have found that it is important to:
Direct (and re-direct) my new team members to the BASICS tab to grasp the simple idea behind SFI.
It is important to read information properly as it is part of training and they are encouraged not to rush through LAUNCHPAD lessons, for example.
Focus on daily actions on the red tabs and the To Do list as priority and continual tasks.
Keep it short and simple in my mails and communication - use bullet points, focus on a theme/subject and keep to the 3-point rule so not to overload an email or message.
Keep team mails or emails to once a week
Have a welcome e-card for new affiliates without repeating information in your email.
On chat, I post short (one-liner) messages to individuals to encourage, advise or remind them about a task.
Give a timeline - that their first month is really a crucial time as training ground and knowledge building about SFI and to login daily to gain AVP.
Be aware that affiliates need the time to process it all and let them know you are available for more specific questions to understand it all.
