How being a good listener applies to an SFI Affiliate?
To be a good listener, we need to show forbearance, be open minded, patient, and capable of understanding everybody's side on a specific issue that may confront us and our partners in business. It is vital that we demonstrate these qualities in our relationships with the all SFI community members.
To be a good listener, we need to learn to speak much less and listen much more: "We have two ears and only one tongue" We need to focus on fully understanding the view points that are being presented to us.
Being a good listner will positively impact our business building efforts by making effective our communications with our our team members, our sponsor, co-sponsor, members of our upline, the technical support team as well as fully taking advantage of tips and sound advice we may find at the Forum and with the answers within the Ask SC questions.
All the above parts of the SFI community play major roles in helping us be successful. All these people are making contributions to our business building efforts.
Being a good listner requires, first of all, being fully open minded and receptive to the, advice, tips, and suggestions from our sponsor, sponsor and our upline. These are our first source of support. From the very beginning, we get welcome messages from our sponsor and co-sponsor and we are introduced to our upline. Our reactions to their welcoming words is a great part of being a good listener.
We also get from SFI Headquarters a series of messages intended to help us navigate the website, find the information we need to make early, progress, reach important milestones and avoid missing important stepping stores that can propel us towards success. Paying close attention to the content in these messages is part of being a good listener. It will make our work easier.
Next, we are exposed to the Forum and the Ask SC questions. They offer us a continuing flow of information that renews itself on a daily basis. Taking full advantage of such resources resources is another example of being a good listener.
In the course of our daily activities, we will run into some technical problems that require the intervention of the Technical support team. Being patient with them, analysing and applying the solutions they offer is essential in solving those technical problems. We will not good listeners if we ignore such input.
One of the most critical parts of our work is our daily interactions with out team members. Success with SFI comes from building a vibrant team of PSAs, CSAs, ECAS, PRMs, while also making sales. To succeed here, we need to need to have sound knowledge; we need to take timely action; we need to solve problems, we need to convince our team members to do the same.
The quality of our communications, our listening skills, will enhance our ability to understand the concerns of our team members, help them address the problems they are facing, ease their minds, and give them the comfort and satisfaction for being part of the SFI family and being rewarded for it.
