We must learn to to be empathetic towards your new Prospect... Place yourself in their shoes.
ASK questions about your prospect, for example: Work/ Personal goals, current Situation, their "WHY" (why do they want their own business/ earn income from Network opportunity)

If you want to be successful, good communication is an absolute necessity in building your business with SFI and TripleClicks.

Communication in its self is a “two way conversation” between the speaker and the listener. With each person taking their turn in speaking and being listened to and in listening while the other person speaks.

Being a Good Listener does not necessarily mean that you have to be listening with your ears.In fact few people have the skills to listen well with their ears, as they need time to process what the speaker is saying and usually the speaker speaks too quickly to assimilate all of the points being made.

In online marketing, to be a good listener means that, one should:

1. Have an information about an Affiliate's profile, thru the badges displayed on his/her SFI homepage, his/her nationality, date joined in SFI, the language he speaks and the TripleClicks product/s which he/she patronize;

SFI is the prime example of an online marketing business. If you want to be a good listener while engaged in online marketing, practice being so while you are building your SFI business. It is remarkable that all the skills we acquire with SFI are fully transferable to any activity we may undertake.

To answer your question, you’ll need to think of the ways how you can translate good listening skills being face to face with a person to your virtual (online) environment i.e. in connection with your SFI business.

A good listener is often more important than speaking. It gives a deeper level of understanding about someone’s situation, and helps to know what words are best to use and what words should be avoided.

This indeed is a nice question and in my own opinion quite easy based on my call centre experience.

With active listening or good listening skills, you can easily pin point:-
1. What your customer wants.
2. What the issue or problem is and how you can resolve such issues
3. Be in an environment that has less noise and distractions to listen to what the customer is complaining about.

To be a good listener you simply have to listen, and take notes - whether mental or actual - but to be an excellent listener, you need to SHOW that you're listening, or that you have listened.

You can be a good - or excellent - listener:

1. while somebody is speaking to you
2. after somebody has spoken to you

I love this question! Communicating through internet based methods are different then having a 1:1 chat with a person face to face. Still, listening is such an important part of our role as sponsor and mentor.

My suggestions are these:

1. Ask probing questions ... so that you can try to get a better understanding of where the person you are communicating with is coming from. This also helps to establish a connection.
