To The Pumpkin Pickers
I'm a retired educator. I've worked with kids and parents my whole life. I've seen real poverty right here in America. I didn't have to travel to 3rd world countries to see it. I spent many nights making home visits to families that lived on government handouts, food stamps, and in filthy living conditions. It's a very sad thing to witness, especially because I liked and cared about all these families. I very often wished I could do something to help them out; to assist them financially, because that is where it hurt the most.
The ironic thing is I didn't have much money myself. I lived on a small farm where I was born and raised. I had a few animals and a a garden. I also had the habit of growing several acres of pumpkins each year. I guess I just loved pumpkins, and I loved the smiles and laughter that kids displayed when they would see a wagon load of big, orange pumpkins. As I said before, I didn't have much money myself, but I had made enough from selling my pumpkins at market to pay kids a wage for helping to pick all those pumpkins - tons of them. And they had a blast doing it. I paid them at the end of each day. Sometimes their parents even showed up at the farm to help pick, too. After all, they needed money, too.
At the end of the pumpkin season, much of my earnings went to paying for the help, but it was well worth it. The joy and laughter was good for all of us. What better crop to grow than pumpkins! I used to call them "the happy fruit."
Where all this is leading is the fact that poverty isn't fun. I experienced it myself and I've seen the agony on the faces of those who suffered from its damaging effects. For most of my life I've wished for a way to help people in financial need. "Oh, if there was a way I could help people like those kids who picked pumpkins for me," I would often say to myself.
Well, my wish must have been heard. I've learned in my studies that the unconscious mind is a powerful force. What we program into it will eventually manifest in our lives. All we have to do is recognize it, and grab onto it when what we wish for shows up. Well folks, it showed up.
A former top network marketer from the US had the same dream as me, it seems. His name is Gery Carson. I'm sure Gery has seen poverty, too, and he's probably witnessed people hurt by scams and schemes that promised fortunes, but delivered little or nothing. After seeing so many honest, desperate people hurt by scams, he decided he would create his own company that would be dedicated to the little guy, the "pumpkin pickers" of the world. And he would make it possible for them to earn a second income, or even more with lots of coaching and guidance. Gery is a man of integrity; an honest, down-to-earth guy who really does care about helping YOU and others just like you earn a living from the Internet, and even make a huge amount of money, if that is what you choose to do.
I am staking my reputation and my name on this company. Sooner or later, we have to "put our cards on the table", and I am doing just that. I'm "all in" with SFI.
