English was the official language in my country before 1980's.After 1980's the national language was introduced and most of the younger generations are now less proficient in English but more on the national language. In my country, Malaysia, "Bahasa Malaysia" or "Bahasa Melayu" is the official language both in communication and education. But English is still widely use in business by private sectors.
The big bulk of the target groups is those who can communicate in the national language. To reach out to these groups, use the national language to promote SFI in local social media as well as in Forum.
Majority of these new generations are searching for better income to have bigger purchasing power and to keep at par with the current living standard. They are accessible to the internet and can easily influence their friends and peers.
A few countries have Bahasa Malaysia as one of the international languages being introduced in their universities. So Forum in my national language is open to others outside Malaysia who can read and understand my national language. Malaysia is a multi- racial and religious country. It is not possible to use any of the native languages in the Forum, as native languages or dialects are spoken mainly to communicate within the various communities.
