Great question!
The most important message to convey is to show you care. Try to get to know them personally. You can do this by email and/or e cards on a regular basis. If they want to Skype, that's okay, but don't spend too much time. Remember that you are their role model. If they think they have to spend a lot of time in conversation, they may give up. Instead, show them how much fun it can be playing free games and earning at the same time. Be excited yourself and share your own successes!
Experience over the past nearly 3 years in SFI has shown me that I need to keep in close contact with affiliates who contact me asking for help and direction. Once they get started it's important to keep a close watch on their progress so you can offer tips for the best game plan for them. Check their profile and ask them questions. Encourage them with any and all successes.
Some things that you need to know about your affiliates are:
- their ability to financially have a standing order.
- time available to spend on their SFI business and TripleClicks.
- their ability to follow your directions.
- desire to earn income fast and/or long term.
- commitment and perseverance
Tailor your leadership to each individual and send out regular team mail to help them all succeed. Show them things that are available on their SFI site for self-instruction. When they become a Team Leader themselves, they will need to know where to find answers, so start to wean them once they've been in the business a few months and are making progress.
