This is a good question! I think we all, as team leader, have been trying to prevent our team members from going inactive.
Many affiliates have reasons as, too busy, have to really work and/or learn, or not paid enough money.
Many never consider they are given a paycheck for no real work and have never looked at all the added perks as part of their income. Many are afraid of marketing, because they don't know what it is. I define marketing as advertising, because it is. You must let people know that you are in business and how it works, this is advertising.
Here are some things for you to consider doing:
COMMUNICATE:
NOTE: It's important that you check new PSA & CSA for their language. You can find their language in the message you receive about your new affiliate. If it is not English, contact them in their language or they will not stay with SFI, because they will not know what to do.
Always welcome your new PSA & CSA. Personally, I like to use the E-Cards for this and then
follow up with an e-mail. The e-mail will let you know the new affiliate has given a correct e-mail address. Many sign up with a false e-mail address because, they know they will not come back.
I believe many sign up to see what SFI is.
Make sure to send group mailings to your team every week with new information.
Some important information for New Affiliates is:
1) SFI is not a Get Rich Quick program, but has been around since 1998 and growing everyday.
2) Yes, SFI is a marketing company. What is marketing? It is advertising your business.
3) SFI gives, for FREE, 2 websites, training courses, and tools to market/advertise their business.

4) Giving them step by step instructions as doing the Start, Basic, LaunchPad, and then doing their
daily actions (the red tabs across).
Sending a group mailing each week to your full genealogy may overwhelm them.
By sending a mailing to a different group on your team each week can help. Here are some examples in no special order:
1) To all the new PSAs & CSAs on your team.
2) To all the Movers on your team.
3) To all the Red Flagged members on the team. This means that they will be purged within 45
days or less. Try to encourage them to come back by explain what they can do to start

4) Send to the whole working team and/or the inactive affiliates on your team.

Setting up incentives can help to motivate the team
1) Set up a contest to give a Gift Certificate for those that become EA2 or higher.
