I take this question most personally since I, along with I am sure many thousands of other SFI affiliates, am part of that demographic. I am 65 and my lovely wife is a beautifully budding 60. We are not invalids, incompetent, nor are we ready for a nursing home. With that being said, we are active (we swim and workout regularly) and we are computer literate (I was once a Network Support Technician of a major hotel in Las Vegas).
So to answer your question, I wouldn’t approach seniors any differently than anyone else except in one way.
All seniors are approaching or are already in retirement. A very scary time of life for some. In many cases our incomes are cut in half when that day comes. So the very best way to approach senior citizens is to simply show how easy it is to build a second (and residual) income that will continue to grow long into an active retirement. A business that won't cost any more, monthly, than dinner out for two.
SFI has numerous marketing tools for this purpose (banners as well as text ads) and you can always find people willing to assist you on the SFI forum.
But most of all never forget... Seniors are people, too. We have the same wants, needs and dreams as anyone. The difference being we are more stable and mature than many others and once we put our minds and hearts into a project (or business) we tend to follow through.
