If you're doing your own advertising, depending on where you advertise, you may be able to target only English-speaking countries. But that might be to your disadvantage in the long run.

As you recruit new members, check their profiles to see what language is their primary. If it's something other than English, you may want to use a translation tool and send them messages in their primary language.
Ask them in the message if they prefer their primary language or English, and communicate with them using their preferred language.
