I don't think you should restrict your recruitment potential because of perceived language problems because there are various tools in SFI and outside of SFI to reduce the negative impact of this problem, some of which are:

1. Direct your team members to translation tools on the Internet like Google translate, so that they can use it to convert content into language they can understand. There are various types you just need to assist and encourage them to try as much as they can and to consequently stick with the one that offers the best translation outcome for their respective languages.

2. There is also translation tool available at virtually all SFI and TC pages that provide the possibility to select the language of your preference to view the content on the pages. This feature is located at the bottom of each page you navigate.

3. There is also the reassignment tool which you can use to place a group of affiliates in your team under another affiliate in your team from the same geographic and cultural background, including language identity.

4. Also, there are so many successful affiliates here who are not English speakers and could you imagine the potential loss of income to their sponsors if he had limited himself to English speakers/readers only.

As you can see, the language problem will mostly become a huge issue to the extent that you as the team leader or sponsor are willing and capable to do, in assisting, guiding and organizing your team to effectively reduce the problem. So it is self-defeating to not recruit affiliates who are not English speakers or readers, as you will be limiting your chances of recruiting your potential future stars. This is my take. Yes, please go ahead and recruit people to become SFI Affiliates regardless of their individual mother-tongues.
My 10-point Reasons are as follows:

1. SFI is a business venture that can be understood by everybody around the world; so, inability to speak/read English is NOT a barrier.

2. In like manner, SFI is a business that can be practiced by everybody around the world - whether or not the person can speak/read English.

3. In every part of the world, there is 'Network Marketing"; and SFI Business is built around that major industry.

4. SFI products, particularly 'health & wellness' related, are GOOD for everybody, regardless of their language.

5. Also, TripleClicks (TC)Products can be beneficial to everybody around the world;

6. SFI Affiliate Websites & TC Product Gateways are constructed with simple, understandable English language that everybody worldwide can comprehend.

7. The willpower, determination, desire and commitment to succeed in business as well as being a team player are all embedded in every person around the world, not only in those people who speak/read English language.

8. Our problems of life (particularly in Internet Business), are with the so-called "Gurus" in Internet Marketing - who always attempt, in their eBooks, Websites and other communication presentation materials, to "impress" people (or show-off) with their (unnecessary) sense of technical language; and by so doing, they ("Gurus") end up confusing people all over the world with their undesired jargons.

9. SFI is NOT built around these 'confusionists". Instead, SFI is presented in simple, understandable English; and so, we can bring people of all language backgrounds up to become SFI Affiliates - for as long as they possess the qualities for succeeding in business as summarized in Item No. 7 above.

10. All said, there is even the availability of gaining access to Google Translator by everybody; and this laudable software can help a lot of people to translate some English presentation into some major languages across the Globe. That is a PLUS for an existing Affiliate wanting to bring in SFI Affiliates that seem to have some English language barriers.

In conclusion, I wish to emphasize that you should please, go ahead and recruit people of other languages to become SFI Affiliates, regardless of their individual mother-tongues.

Most assuredly, your willpower and exemplary leadership qualities will see you through in getting very many SFI Affiliates on board.

What we see in SFI it has room for everyone who is interested and are willing to grow. It is a little difficult when people don't speak the same language but rest assured we all have the same need despite of differences of languages.
SFI has considered well this option and that is why they have the LANGUAGE TRANSLATE situated in every pages to help those who do not speak English to also get by and become successful.
This has to be related to them when the affiliates sponsors their PSA's and PRM's.
Everyone can do SFI provided they have a desire to grow, learn and do.

To answer you question yes definitely you should recruit them and ask them to use LANGUAGE TRANSLATE at SFI.

You may also find some people who may not even know how to read and write in their own language so what do we do ummm well not every body can come in and we can not please everyone. Education is the very essence of our existence in this generation! But do not ignore them help them in other ways then SFI way!

Hi Vehbi,

Having received a few PSAs and CSAs that are not English reading or speaking makes a lot of difference, they work harder and do more then many of the affiliates that speak and read English!

To help your Non-English affiliates you need to:
1) Made sure they know there is a language translator on every page on TripleClicks
and SFI.
2) Take the time to change the group mailings, e-cards and, e-mails into their own
language.
3) Make sure they understand about the new a2a Friends tab and now they can find
friends from their own country.
You can find the a2a tab by going to your black "Support" tab.
This is much easier than me finding English speaking affiliates from their country
that will agree to help them when needed.
(It has worked sometimes and not other times.)
4) Always be there to help all your PSAs and CSAs. Keep in contact with them and
praise them when they do well.

Yes you should! Why wouldn’t you?

We live in a Global Village. SFI with its TripleClicks Superstore recognizes this and caters for it. It’s one of the things I love about SFI!

As affiliates of SFI we have the opportunity for our own businesses to reach into every country of the world (all those with internet capability). We have the opportunity to enrich our lives AND theirs!

Yes, we are marketers, selling products and services to everyone who wishes to buy them. But the SFI opportunity is more than that. It has a social and moral/ethical side.

We market only morally and ethically acceptable products – no alcohol or drugs for instance. And we do this in a morally, ethically and fair way. Each product and each ECA has to be approved and meet certain standards. Those who try to circumvent these standards are sanctioned and their rights terminated.

SFI is an opportunity for us to reach out globally and make everyone our customer, seller, team member, neighbour and friend. It is an opportunity that offers ANYONE hope and a chance for a better life. SFI does this with FREE training, marketplace websites, administration assistance and support.

SFI places no limitations on any one – why should I? Or you?

I just love it that I have people from over 40 countries in my team. In fact my dream is to have an active team in every country in the world, headed in each country by an awesome team leader.

And I’d love to develop closer relationships with each of my team members. What a great opportunity SFI offers us, not only to do business anywhere in the world, but to get to know people from different cultures – to share, learn from, and appreciate each other.

I’m not a linguist but as these friendships develop over time it would be great to be able to converse, even if only a little bit, in each other’s native language. So from my point of view it would be a mark of respect from me to my good team members for me to learn to speak and write in their language.

After all, SFI is forever! We are talking about developing relationships that will last for the rest of our lives. Think of the possibilities?

English is the language of business. That is why so many people from other countries learn English. We can be catalysts in this with our team members. And there are translation tools out there to help us do this.

I hope you can tell that I am pretty excited about this!

In fact it annoys me that some of the ECAs in SFI charge a premium to supply affiliates only from English speaking countries and provide a discount for those from non-English speaking countries. That’s discriminatory.

I have lived in Papua New Guinea for over 30 years, my wife is Papua New Guinean, and I can assure you that language is not a barrier to anything.

So don’t place false limits on yourself or your SFI businenss.

Before computers and complex software programs were developed to assist us in communicating across language barriers this would have been a greater challenge. But today, No! We have the ability to communicate like never before. SFI is a Global Marketing Enterprise and no one should ever be excluded for not being able to speak or read in English.

Early in your Welcome Letter to your new PSAs or CSAs you should introduce the Google Translation link.

You can introduce them to a2a for connecting with other SFI Affiliates from their region. Once there they can seek out the most successful affiliates as Mentor(s) suitable for their needs.

If their desire is to progress as an Entrepreneur they will find the means to communicate and learn all they can. And maybe even pick up learning to speak and read in English.

When someone has communicated poorly in English I can usually figure out what it is they're seeking. You can help!

Sometimes you can communicate something by sending an image via the Snipping Tool. In the Forum we sometimes use images to communicate moods, ideas and training.

Anyone that will not recruit others because they do not speak or read in English has no vision and would never make a good sponsor in SFI. In an International Business like SFI there are no boundaries.

You should definitely recruit every body who is interested of joining SFI, regardless of whether they do or do not speak/read English.

Language is not a barrier for being an SFI or Tripleclicks Affiliates.

I personally have affiliates in every part of the world.

There are over 203 countries represented within SFI. Today, The majority of SFI Affiliates do not speak English.

And this is not holding them back or preventing them from succeeding in their businesses or even participating in the SFI communities such as the Forum, Ask SC or a2a

You may want to know that each page of the SFI/Tripleclicks websites is linked to an online translator that handles over 110 different languages.

In my communications with, I encourage them to use the translator.

For example, I have an Affiliate from Brazil. She does not speak a single word of English.

I solve our communication problems in two ways. One, I encourage her to translate every message she gets from SFI into Portuguese. Two, I also encourage her to translate every SFI/Tripleclicks page into Portuguese, when she is working on that page.

The reason is that there is a translator on the SFI web pages that may be used, so that the affiliate can translate what is written into his/her own language. In fact, at one time I sponsored an affiliate who spoke Arabic and helped him get started by showing him that there is a translator there.

Another thing that proves to be helpful is that many people who live in non-English speaking countries do learn English where they live. These people are able to help their fellow countrymen to learn the language. Those of us who speak English can also help them to learn the language as well.

As sponsors, we can use a translator to communicate with affiliates who do not speak English, if we need to.

The fact that Gery Carson and his team have had the foresight to work all this out so this business could be a worldwide one is commendable!

You should try to recruit PSA/PRMs regardless of their primary language. MANY people around the world have some little grasp of English.

As has been stated in answers to a similar question in the last round of new questions, you should never assume that the lack of familiarity with English would be a major barrier to their success with SFI. Using the Google translator will help get your affiliate started, and being exposed to English from the start will help new prospects to potentially improve their knowledge/use of English. Or you will both become very proficient with translators!!:))

The most important trait for the new affiliate to have is the desire to learn and succeed. This quality either exists in the person, or does not, and language has no bearing. Continue to the best of your ability to recruit new affiliates and work with them the same as if they spoke English as well as yourself:))...
