Yes it is worthwhile to create individual, personalized welcome letters to new PSAs using information from their Affiliate Profile.
Most of the time, when you send the welcome letter, the profile is not completed yet. But you can use whatever is available. Most of the time you can see what language the PSA has chosen as a Primary Language and the country s/he comes from.
It will be worthwhile to send him/her a welcome letter in his/her language if his/her language is not English. If maybe s/he comes from other countries where English is a second language, you can even ask what language s/he prefers since s/he comes from that country even if s/he chosen English as Primary Language.
This will help in breaking the ice, building a strong relationship and confirming that you are a real person not a machine.
