As far as I see it, the question is not so much really about having team members to TAKE ON leadership role, as much as it is about the fact that it is IMPERATIVE upon them to TAKE UP leadership role, if they want to succeed in sfi by personally recruiting affiliates into their team.
If you study the workings of sfi, you will find that the fastest way to succeed in sfi is to personally introduce more affiliates into your team. People, who have a great desire to earn more money, so that they can improve their way of life. Such are the once who will want to know what they should do to achieve their aim.
This is where the team member comes in. He should TAKE UP the responsibility of quickly helping them to know what and what they should do, and should be doing daily to achieve their aim. This simple act of teaching them to know their way is what is called LEADERSHIP ROLE. It should be a strong and dedicated desire by the team member, because when he does his best for these affiliates to succeed, he succeeds as well. You realize, therefore, that this is a win-win situation which team members MUST NEVER take lightly; and this is why it is IMPERATIVE upon them to do so.
