There are three groups of people that join the site (1) people who are thinking about maybe, one day, starting a home based business so they want to check out what our program is about, how much it costs, what it all entails, 'for future reference' (I was one of those 11 years ago!) (2) Tire kickers who want to know if membership is free where does he money come from to pay commissions and bonuses etc. They are fully prepared to be sceptical and pessimistic and when they are exposed to all of the information and realize that they are actually expected to operate in their own interests and invest a little money too, they decide that SFI is not for them. The #(3) group are like you and I. We signed up ready to get to work from the minute we verified our accounts and logged on for the first time. People who are determined to put their best effort and energy into making a successful run at whatever we decide to become a part of.
Don't let those "affiliates" discourage you or distract your focus. They aren't/weren't ready to get to work and you don't need anyone who wants to profit from you doing all of the hard work for them. Those affiliates that are ready to take this opportunity seriously and who aren't terrified at the very thought of a little hard work, stand out amongst the slurry of non-starters, whiners, and those who want to be left out or left behind. They stand tall as all of the weak, weak minded, weak willed, or weak excuse maker non risk taker individuals melt like snow in spring and flow all around you on their way down stream rather than down line. Those who want this, with whom you have important ideas, dreams, and visions in common, will be standing firm in the stream right next to you as the rest wash away.
Commonly around 1% of free affiliates will take action and move up to even the first executive tier. That number is a bit higher here on SFI but if you are averaging more than 1% and especially if you are finding the rate motivated, intelligent, teachable, with a healthy positive attitude. focus instead on what you can do with and for those people rather than those who will not take actuon no matter what you do or say.
