Setting up both are good ideas. But I would go for the blog.
Reason for the blog, is that you will be able to communicate more effectively with your sign ups and prospectives. This could allow you to develop good relationships, which I believe is the foundation for establishing trust between you and your prospectives.
The blog can also be used as a support system for you and your sign ups, where discussion can take place and ideas shared on how to build a successful SFI Business. That way your sign ups would want to follow you “leading by example” because of the relationship and trust that were established from the blog.
