Hi,
When you are advertising your gateways such as Affiliate signup link or TC member referral, you should plan to use different key codes in the link such as
-- 3 digit key code for Affiliate sign up for REAL gateway,
-- 4 digit keycode for REAL2 gateway,
-- 5 digit key code for Tripleclicks gateway
Next the important thing is to track the advertising media that proved to be successful for your ads.
To track the advertising media, you now can use identification such as for your REAL gateway, you may use keycode starting with 1 to identify one platform, keycode starting with 2 for next ad platform and so on.
Once you are done with the tracking plan now you have to maintain a record of the advertising media or platform detail and the corresponding key code you have used.
Once this exercise is complete, now start advertising and keep monitoring your HITs in the PowerTools option.
This will give you a fair idea about which ad has been successful as well as through which advertising option.
