Whether you’re using free or paid advertising in marketing SFI, it’s important to know what’s working and what’s not.
In launching your marketing campaign with a solid combination of media such as online classified ads, social media, e-mail, direct mail, etc. you’ll be getting leads and responses coming in just about everywhere. How would you know which of your marketing ads are stellar performers? And which ones need to be refined or replaced?
SFI has provided affiliates an invaluable tool in order to track their marketing responses. Save on your marketing budget by eliminating any non-performing media.
The best way to track your advertising responses is to key each ad with a unique code, so every lead can be identified according to its original source.
Here are three effective ways to make every lead identifiable:
- Use key codes
Use key codes in all your advertising campaign, whether you’re marketing SFI online or offline. Choose your own unique key codes and append it to the end of your SFI Identification number. For example: you’re promoting one of your SFI Gateway links, which features listings of SFI latest enrollments and earners with brief information about TripleClicks and have chosen a unique code 123, your link will appear like this: http://www.sfi4.com/SFIID.123/FREE.
By adding different key codes to your Gateway links, you’ll be able to identify quickly and easily the effectiveness of your marketing efforts.
Do not use the following key codes which are currently reserved for SFI corporate:
1101, 1104, 1200, 1300.
- Provide a URL
If you’re tracking responses from an offline campaign, another method is to provide unique URLs. You can use Lifetime Custom Prestige Domain through your Custom Domain Manager for setting up. You can have multiple versions of your domain name (5 unique custom domains or different URLs) that all point to a designated landing page on your website. Let’s say, respondents to an offline ad campaign about TripleClicks Pricebenders Auction will type a simple URL which is easy to remember, such as auctions3c.com and then be instantly forwarded to your primary site: TripleClicks.com/SFIID/PBWin. Your web logs will show the number of responses.
- Use Hit Tracking
Whether you’re monitoring the results of your online marketing campaign or e-mail ads campaign, you need to employ tracking codes. You can track the web hits to your personal SFI Gateway using Hit Tracking provided by SFI. Use the hit tracking results and performance summaries of your key codes you have incorporated during your advertising campaign to tweak, refine and perfect the details of your marketing campaigns for better results.
By tracking all responses according to their sources, you can test individual ad campaigns to see which marketing approaches and offers produce the most profitable results for your SFI business.
