1. We can begin with a courteous greeting (good morning good afternoon and how are you?)

2. Know your audience...find out what individual like (familiar topic to talk about)

3. Practice face-to-face conversations with persons you are familiar with

4. Personally, I find that I am much bolder in the presence of those I not know (with the thought that I may not see these persons again anyway)

5. Sometimes groups that you know may be harder to deal with. They tend to look for all the faults (atleast that is what we internalize)
