Actually both are equally important. Approaching SFI locally provides you with a solid base in which to operate. As a local distributor, you must make a value proposition to your potential client/customer. You must explain how that client/customer can benefit from their association with Tripleclicks, W3, SFI, etc. It must always be tailored towards their best interests. The more local exposure you have, the greater opportunity you will have to expand your business. Having a global presence however is also important. With a global perspective, you can approach your business from a macro level. With this global perspective, you must look for ways in which to entice /persuade a percentage (10%) of your potential clients to become a part of your business. This allows you to have a larger number of PSAs. No effective business plan is implemented without provisions for both. Work to build your business locally while also developing a global brand.
