When you feel you are not (yet) good at approaching people face to face there are a lot of things you can do;
1. First of all have yourself a 'growth' mindset saying "I might not be the best but I am
learning!" Your 'fixed' mindset says; "I cannot do it".
2. It might not be a real fact that you are not good at it, it is 'just' a feeling and it
is only a thought. Change your thinking. Your thought create your reality.
3. Whenever in contact, public or private, wear a smile on your face, a real smile,
coming from within you. Smiling and being positive is highly contacious!
4. If you hesitate in approaching people, let them approach you, so be approachable with
your smile and your open mindedness. Be interested in what is happening around you,
instead of only looking at your phone or tablet.
5. One of the best things I have learned in life is; Listening. Realy listen to
people, not to reply but to hear their story. What realy interests them. Listen to
the words they are not saying, the nonverbal story they are telling, look into
their eyes. So, listen with your heart and you will know by intuition what to say.
