I have word open so that when I see anything interesting that I think my team would like to read about, I make a note of it in word and then go into it a bit more when I have read up more about it. I also add some pictures to my newsletter that I think makes the newsletter not so serious. You could also add in a small quiz for your team to do for fun. But generally add some news, congratulate your team, write about advertising techniques, add a reminder to those members that have not opened a Standing Order to do so to stay as an EA every month. Ask questions to your team, this in turn shows you who is serious and also you know then that they have received your newsletter too.
