a) First, cultivate and develop your language of communication - must be able to say the same things in different ways by adopting different approaches.
b) Develop and strengthen the basic and some advanced knowledge about the product or service
that is being promoted or advertised by word of mouth.
c) Rehearse well with family members, relatives, friends, neighbors etc. Ask them to find out any deficit or lacuna that exists for necessary correction. Test the wordings, phrases and grammar of the language you speak and confirm before-hand.
d) Develop your will power and confidence levels by power dressing and exhibition of product or service knowledge.
e) Adopt various noble ways of approaching and speaking to various people such as salutation, truthfulness, honesty, readiness to accept criticism and correction, thankfulness i.e., gratitude etc.
f) In case, if you do not know any information sought by the other person, then politely provide a reply that you find out the information from your superiors and let them know at the earliest.
g) Always maintain regular customer relationship by writing letters, mails or speak on telephones/cellphones - make warm greetings and enquiries regarding health, job, friends,family members etc.
h) Always carry in person all the required proofs and evidences whenever you approach any prospective client.
i) Always convey your thankfulness for giving you an opportunity for communication, and remember to take leave with permission.
