What I would discuss will largely depend on where the relationship is at.
If this is our first chat and the member is brand new to SFI (day 1) my priority will be
- to make the member feel welcome and
- to assure him that I am here for him and
- that I will totally support him in growing his business and
- to instill in the member confidence in me.
With these in mind, I will focus on developing an open a frank discussion with the member. I will tell him something about myself, my business and my experience within SFI. I will ask questions and encourage him to speak about himself.
I need to obtain relevant information that would help me help him. Informations such as:
- his previous experience if any in affiliate marketing
- advertising experience if any
- his family circumstances
- job & finances
- his attitude towards the business - is he after quick money - prepared to work - motivation - what he wants to achieve etc..
Most of these cannot be covered in one conversation.
The member will most likely have a lot of questions. I will answer them very briefly but at the same time encouraging him to to do the training and providing links where he can find out the answers himself.
While I am here to help him, I want to highlight the fact that it is his business, he works for himself, the success of the business depends largely on himself, and that he can find out the answers to most of his questions himself. I dont want a dependant (I will not of course say this directly)
There are many other things that can be discussed but those would be my prioritise.
