Teach your loved ones how to operate the business in your absence as they will someday inherit this business when you reach a point where you decide to relax and stop working to enjoy the success you have built.
If the kids or grand kids want a share of what has been built they will need to take part in doing at least the minimum to maintain an active account and productive downline. If the business is big enough they can hire someone to handle correspondence and marketing but keeping it in the family will offer greater security and longevity.
Warn them that if they just leave it dormant the business will eventually fall off as others retire or move on, and new recruits are no longer being found. The income they take for granted will dry up without effort or desire so make the best of the business and work it hard.
The best time to start planning for their future is right away. In my case I have 7 children and as each becomes old enough to work in the state of Arizona they will be taught to blog and refer, and learn to operate my business. I would love to see them earn at least a portion of their early incomes from the family business and be a part of it's growth so they know what it has taken to build it.
I want them to value every hour and cherish the opportunity to work with me like I loved working with my dad at fourteen.
