As it would be a new experience for new PSAs to be marketing for SFI, whether on referrals, TripleClicks memberships, ECAs or TC products, it is best to recommend using the SFI marketing tools and methods. They can use ready-made and proven materials/tools from a selection of banners, e-cards, e-texts ads, brochures and sample e-mails to advertise about a new concept as SFI. They may select whichever may suit their audience. For example, one may choose a banner with the ‘Save the Planet’ theme on it when posting on a blog/website that promotes the same theme.
Next, they must be encouraged to start using them with online advertisements. They can use sites that they are already familiar with as well as free and accessible such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, their own emails, free blogspots (e.g. google) and websites (e.g. wordpress/webs.com). This will serve as their practice before they proceed to a more aggressive advertising later on. These marketing methods also provide quick results as their posts will likely be ‘liked’ by their circles in FB, endorsed in LinkedIn, re-tweeted on Twitter or followed in Pinterest. These feedbacks will in turn build the confidence of the new PSAs to continue and do more advertisements and be bold in their marketing strategies.
Another great way is to use printed materials. They may use brochures to speak for them when recruiting for ECAs, flyers for sign-ups, gift cards for TC members and possible sales.
Of course, in all these, make sure to remind them to use their gateways so that the credit will go to them.
