Let me illustrate my question with an example. Let's say you have been very successful in your marketing and just your PSAs number in at around 200. Now, 200 PSAs is a lot to try to pack into someone's home, so you venture out to find a suitable meeting location. Many hotels offer meeting/convention facilities. So you find a hotel that has a meeting hall that can accommodate up to 500. You are thinking "This is great. More than enough room." Then they start discussing pricing: $200 base starting rate; add another $100 for use of their PA system; add another $150 for use of video; add another $7 per attendee for refreshments - total cost is $1850 per meeting, and you plan on conducting your training meetings once a month. Another major disadvantage to offline training is that it is only accessible by those PSAs who live close to you. Most will not attend if they have to drive more than 45 minutes to an hour one way.
They better way, in my opinion, is to do online training sessions. Even if you were to opt for a paid hosting option, you would be looking at, on average, no more than a couple hundred per month, which, depending on the host, could provide enough bandwidth to allow several hundred to possibly an unlimited number of attendees. You also have the advantage to global reach, which is very beneficial considering that SFI is a global opportunity.
