I think it all depends on what kind of business you have here at SFI. I'm sure there must be some areas where it is feasible, and you will surely receive many useful answers from affiliates who practice this way of doing business.
The only thing I can contribute to your question is this: I am assuming that part of your business includes building a team of affiliates. If so, I don't think it would be very practical to run this portion of your business on autopilot. These are real live individuals with different needs and concerns, who will very likely require your personal attention and advice when you least expect it.
The whole premise of nurturing a team of affiliates is to be available to respond to their questions or help them solve any problems they face at SFI. If you want to build a good relationship with your affiliates and get them to know and trust you, you need to show them that you are a real person who strives to do whatever it takes to help them, not someone who sends an automatic newsletter once or twice a week.
